Miasmata (Thanks, Hawkie!)

Now I'm debating between Super House of Dead Ninjas + DLC or waiting for Vector to go on sale. Also hoping that Lone Survivor: Director's Cut gets a nice discount

It's genuinely my favorite game of all time and I know a lot of others on Gaf feel the same way.

Look into DSfix and make sure you use it. It elevates the game from a bad PC port to a fully fledged PC game with a whole suite of graphics options.

The music is definitely the best part because there were some extremely poor decisions made with the platforming :p

It's aight tho, definitely worth throwing a buck at.

There were about two or three parts for me so far where it just felt legitimately unfair and like it was asking too much but I pushed through.

I'm on world 3-2 right now.

If any of you are buying the Bit Trip games piecemeal because you bought some of the games in the series but not the others - if you haven't bought BIT TRIP VOID yet, for some reason the Soundtrack "DLC" comes with the game for free, despite being sold as a bundle for $2.03. If you just buy the core game for 99 cents, the Soundtrack will be included. Probably a bug in the way Steam and/or the publisher bundled it.

Also, if you buy the Soundtrack and Game separately (for most of the Bit Trip Games) you save a whopping 3 cents compared to buying the combined packs.

In the best-case scenario, sure, that will be true in a few months. In the worst case, the game will no longer be playable starting this summer. GFWL hasn't been removed from Dark Souls just yet.

My complaints are really nitpicky but I've caught a few levels not resetting properly after a death, which means obstacles and enemies aren't in a predictable location on every single life. Also, some jumps are just stupid because of how hard it is to tell how close to an edge you can be without falling off it. It's pretty tight, but not as tight as other platformers of this type.

I got ME1 on steam a long time ago but hated the keyboard controls only played about 8 hours or so.... I'd consider getting them if EA/bioware wasn't lazy and added controller support. but come to think of it Bioware's games I've never really been a fan of I really waited to love KOTOR but the xbox version was sooo damn buggy, it ended up ruining my save and I never beat it..

And adding awesome features like competitive queuing, map packs to support map makers, and pretty much nailing the feel of 1.5-1.6.

The worst part was the gui used for the 360 build is partially included in the pc version, you can enable decent controller support with a mod.

Yeah they're trying to keep csgo matchmaking clean. The guys at r/GlobalOffensive have been asking for a selection of default Valve-approved clean sprays that you collect from drops, and then you would have people submitting new sprays to the Workshop for the community to vote into the game. That would be cool, I just want to spray something, doesn't need to be a custom image off my PC.

But then why not add oilrig? Why not bring back classic maps like iceworld? If you are so busy adding new features, surely they could add the old ones they skipped over.

I didn't find electronic super joy to be precise enough, or I'm the one not precise enough to be playing it so it could get frustrating at times, like I would slip off the platform or just not timing them correctly half of the time.

For what it's worth, I find the controls INCREIDBLY precise. Almost to the point where I get frustrated because I'm stomping just a hair too soon and falling into holes so frequently because I'm bad at video games.

Have you got V-sync on? That might be a culprit.

It's just the soundtrack and a digital version of the poster. Soundtrack is definitely worth $0.75 though.

Yeah, only for every nooblet to play nothing but de_dust all day.

I admit, I'm a nooblet at CS, and Dust is the map I've played the most.

I think I have it off, I'm not sure why but it feels off, maybe it's my monitor or I'm just terrible :p

Other than that I think the game and concept is cool though
