moved to firefox after having a few issues with chrome and here i find that every so often going to a game's steam store pages crashes firefox entirely? anyone had that happen?
is that the enhanced steam bug?
at least when it comes to interface, all the games i've played have either been hell (dead state, wasteland 2, divinity) or just were so streamlined you didn't have an inventory (shadowrun)
i think eternity will be old shit done better, which is what i really wish the other devs would've done as well.

i mean, out of all the ks old school rpgs eternity seems like it's interested in modernizing a bit.

i think it's fine in some cases, but the way it's haphazardly used is kind of sick when talking about delicate stuff like that.

The former. Hence "Zombie Army Trilogy" and not "Nazi Zombie Army Trilogy".
It's set up like Max Payne 3: pre-order now to get the most rewards (bonus cash and San Andreas). I'd expect the bonus cash to be given the flick come February 1st (which is when Tier 2 kicks in) with Tier 3 having just San Andreas.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Sort of. Technically speaking it's a Firefox bug (it's in the release notes for the latest version).
Be sure to grab the latest version of the extension from http://firefox.enhancedsteam.com as versions older than 7.2.2 won't automatically update. A few people are still reporting crashes, but less often. Hopefully Mozilla has a fix available soon.
That's a bingo. Apparently Rebellion grew sick of making two versions.

In my experience, the vast majority of Tinypic links on GAF still link to their original images -- some do link to something else, though, and a subset of those are NSFW.

Interesting how Rockstar is pulling a Ubisoft and making it so you can only buy the Steam version through the client. I wish they would give the option of codes through online retailers.
I'm getting screwed by the horrible $CAD anyway so it's probably better for me to wait for a sale on GTAV.

That seems weird. Could the game itself check from where its played and load that data accordingly? The devs said german version is censored just 2 days ago on the forums.
Well if you're going to try running it at full pelt on your PC I'd say that is far more crazier!
Saying that the specs at the required end are quite low but I couldn't get GTA IV to play nice on my Q6600, even when it was clocked to 3.8ghz. Even turning every setting right down would still wig out from time to time. Though when I upgraded to a 4670K, even with turbo off and at 3.4ghz stock the difference was massive. Be interesting to see how things have progressed from IV to V. What I do find funny is folks saying 'Max Payne 3 was a great port'. Yeah sure it was, for a linear, enclosed shooter. Open world is a whole different kettle of fish in terms of demands but L.A. Noire ran pretty stellar on my old and current PC. I guess we'll see in a couple of months time.

I think X-Note is supposed to be a pretty decent VN.
Looks like it might not be that good, but look on the bright side: it's only $0.89.

Wait so you're upset that others will pay more to get earlier access to product you deem worthy of buying yourself anyway? All the outrage about how Rockstar doesn't care for PC gamers is fine when the game is $60, but it goes away when the price is $45?
There is a flag that does something like that (e.g. if you activated HL2 in Germany you'd get the censored version) but the sub doesn't include it.

Like those last-minute benefits when you order a vacation trip very late.
The suckers that already pre ordered would get so mad lol.

Finished The Evil Within on Survival, 12 hours 13 minutes, 67 deaths (!!!)
Here's some pros and cons
+ Superb gameplay (RE4 refined)
+ Awesome scenario planning and pacing
+ Great graphics, sound design and overall location design (+ impressive real time transitions!)
+ Grade A enemy design
+ Use of letterboxing that wasn't just a atmosphere ("for more cinematic experience") thing but one that actually contributed to gameplay
+ Difficulty level that was just right
+ Quite a lot of hidden stuff I guess, I only got like 15% of the collectibles and I searched A LOT
+ Some incentives to play on new game +
+ Many "This must be a QTE part" were actual playable parts
- Story didn't really go anywhere and I didn't "get" the ending at all
- Human character design which in together with the story didn't have any impact

- I died a lot but the pre-advertized enemy randomness was only clearly visible in few places

Following the H1Z1 thread, because I don't have the game, it seems the airdrop stuff was shown and talked about to work the way it works months ago so I wouldn't call it a quick turnaround, just people being... quick to negativity.
Yeah it will be a good laugh to see if it works at all. Unlike MGS V where the lappy was pretty much below every min spec other than ram, it's only the CPU letting the system down this time, since mine is a dual core rather than quad. Although it is apparently one of the stronger dual cores, so there is hope haha.
I'd set it to "Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City". They are expansion packs, after all.
