It doesn't have to be rigorous. As long as you're giving it a good blow or wiping it down with a rag every once in a while that should be enough. I probably do a thourough cleaning with q-tips and toothpicks getting in between heatsink fins like once a year.

No one hires my pawn either. I'm in that weird leveling spot in the mid 20s where everyone who is actively playing the game is in the late 30s-mid 40s and anyone else who is below my level is in the early teens and basically gave up on the game.
Also another nod to cleaning your cabinet often. I cleaned mine yesterday and the thing is even more noisy than it was earlier because of a whiny fan that now needs to be replaced.

Why is this a nono? Do the 1s weigh more than 0s and naturally slide to the bottom of the drive's platter due to gravity if HDDs at an angle?

its a spinning platter... if u set it horizontal or vertical the weight is balanced, but at 45degrees it isn't.
There is such a thing as good TN panels, believe it or not.
For years I thought I had an IPS panel; turns out it's some sort of magic Dell-TN. (Alienware AW2210. It's fucking magic)
For the most part I'd agree though, but you can't have everything and still expect it to be low-budget stuff.
I'd see if I could make my 780ti last another year, but I can't. Cause it's one I borrowed and the git wants it back, so I'm returning to my plain ole 780 soon.

Maybe I didn't ask precise enough, I was talking about settings managed by the Steam client (installed DLC, language, beta access...) but I figured it out.
This stuff is stored in the respective appmanifest data in the SteamApps folder.
Define dirt cheap, because my current monitor cost me $100 over three years ago. I could see going maybe to $200 but not much above that.
Also, I'd be perfectly content with a 1080p g-sync monitor but I've yet to see one.

DS2 feels like a copy/past. The level design is very uninspired. The DLCs are much, much better than the base game, but still is the worse Souls game.
BenQ has the XL2420G, if you can find it.
Windward seems due to be bundled soon.

Trying to use more tactics and planned attacking in ArmA3. Lead to my team being prone all the time and constantly stopping and scanning/tagging enemies. After that ordering specific team-mates to aim at specific enemies (soldiers with rocket launcher aiming at vehicles). Positioning each soldier at different places. Once I have all high-value targets (dangerous ones) aimed at, I position myself at a good strategic place and finally give the fire order. Me myself popping out, taking out enemy foot soldiers while rockets fly at vehicles leaving the enemy stunned.
Took me a long time to plan all out but the end is so darn satisfying

I feel guilty using the higher level free pawns in DDDA, thankfully enough friends play that there's still some folks in their late 20's.
Did an escort quest the other day, escorting that village chief dude to the Shadow Fort. He's lucky we survived at all, what with the bandit gauntlet, then the path with a wyrm on one side, hobgoblins and what looked like either an ogre or a cyclops on the other. Disappointed that at the end, couldn't do shit at the fort, and didn't have a Porta to place to make the trip worthwhile near the camp.
Today, I'll do the Everfall, then studying signal analysis and electrical machinery theory that I don't understand.
Can't forget X-Files though, thanks for the reminder lashman.
