Also, this is nice. No need for hacked xinput dlls anymore I guess. Assuming that means what I think it means.
*Added option to disable Guide Button issuing a Steam focus change. This is available through the Big Picture controller options menu. This allows better interoperability with other applications which use the Guide Button, such as PSNow.
Figured you'd post that ;P Even if it is true...
I honestly couldn't care less. If the game interests me cool, if not I'll give it away.
Even if it were the first game in the bundle, it'd be game I got for under $2.
Speaking of taunting though; you just revealed you use White theme >:3
Vagante is farther along, and has more of an RPG feel, with different classes and skills, while Catacomb Kids is all about the reactive world and is much faster and free-form in choosing skills and how you approach danger. Personally, I like Catacomb Kids more, but they're both great
The difference here is that the onus is on Gamepump to deliver. Not just so that existing subscribers like me will want to re-subscribe, but also because there are a lot of people interested in Gamepump and are waiting to see what kind of quality they'll deliver.
If it ends up all being shit-tier garbage ports that belong in an 8 for a $1 Indie Gala bundle, then the service probably won't be around for very long.
Hm, anyone know a fix/workaround for double input with a DualShock 3 with SCP with the new Steam Controller thingens?
I remember reading about the same problem with the DS4.
They've said that they'll be available for purchase directly on Steam after they're featured on Gamepump - and presumably that's part of the draw for companies to work with them in the first place. Gamepump generates revenue, releases a cool game that wouldn't have otherwise ever seen the light of day, and the developer earns residual revenue from Steam sales for years.

it's why i'm cool with league while i find overwatch's model super frustrating (not to mention that overwatch is $40 and that half their content is trash built to hurt your odds)
but then again, league added one or two exclusive skins to blind boxes, so you never know with this shit
i'd much rather they said "ok we're porting this game give us money" instead of toying with people's expectations like a casino
i understand that's not the world we live in today but americans got to cry about donald trump i'll cry about what bothers me most :>
Doom levels are draining, in a good way. Some of the later stuff looks grimy as fuck too. Except Hell which actually looks more like something out of Darksiders heh. Apparently I still have 4 levels to go, damn son, game's big, unles they suddenly become much shorter.
Me too. My reasonings was that 1) I wanna know the Steam prices of LIT and the other games when they release on Steam to see if 20$ sub is worth it 2) I don't like to sub to things I don't know what Im gonna get, which is the reason Im not subbing to Humble Monthly either.
I jumped on the gamepump wagon. $20 for a year and 13 games is too good to pass up. What is that, like $1.50 per game? Factor in cards and it's even less.
Yea, I believe I played Catacomb Kids when the game launched. So haven't played it in quite some time, but I enjoyed that as well. They are both excellent, but I think I far prefer Vagante now that it has smooth Online Co-op.

GOTY:
(5 Points) - Stardew Valley - one of my most awaited games and it delivered in everything. it's one of these games that put a smile on my face when I'm playing, and is perfect after having a stressful day at work.
(4 Points) - Orwell - This one surprised. The concept sounded cool so I went in blindly and I'm glad I did it. Working for the government, choosing random information that may or may not mess with other people lives made me feel very uncomfortable, and I messed a lot of decisions but I decided to roll with them because I wanted to know where the things were going. :/
(3 Points) - That Dragon Cancer - Deeply emotional. While I don't have kids, I have a brother who is younger and just thinking about him becoming badly sick made me cry. It's incredible how that game made feel so sympathetic towards some one else suffering, not only the parents and the kids but the
hospital scene with the letters of patients, and relatives who suffered with the disease
was deeply touching.
(2 Points) - Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight - Surprise of the year. Bought because of the talking it got on these threads and I was not disappointed. Currently almos finishing it, and I can see myself coming back to try to finish on the harder difficulties.
(1 Point) - Owlboy - While many where waiting for the game to release my first contact with it was when they announced the release date. I know many felt disappointed by it, mainly because the gameplay, but it felt ok for me and played through all of it using Kb/M only. What got me invested in the game was the story, in no moment Otus gets stronger and the only new ability he gets is already in the beginning of the game. Just my opinion, but I feel that the developers nailed the narrative.
--- EA:
(3 Points) - Secrets of Grindea - While the updates take some time to come the core gameplay is almost all finished. There are plenty of abilities to build a character that better suit your playstyle.
(2 Points) - Monsters and Monocles - It's already very polished, the developers are very active on the forums and the updates are monthly.
It's a service that you subscribe to for a certain amount of time, and they deliver you one game each month. The games are being released on Steam normally, you are getting them for a lower price overall. You can still buy it, but no one knows when the discount will go away. Currently one year costs $20 instead of $60.
Grindea is still in early access? I feel like someone I know was playing that game 5 years ago or something. Was it out in alpha/beta/whatever before it was on Steam?
Subscribed for 1 year of Gamepump because of you guys. My only hope is that there is at least 1 good game in the 13 games. Website is pretty poor so far. Never worked with my paypal so had to use my CC. Really don't like using my CC on random websites but eh.
The two hour limit on refunds is ridiculous. It takes longer than that with some games to see the faults and or tinker enough to know when a game runs like shit no matter what you do.
I bought Squad in the sales and the performance is absolute dogshite, just went to refund it but have 2.2 hours logged and nearly all of that was trying different configurations of settings, getting into a game and getting to an area where the framerate would be the worst.

I think we should get more than 13 games in the end. I may be making things up but if LineLight is to be included, it should be tomorrow since the game will be released by the end of the month. I would find it weird to get it in the February GAMEPUMP offering.
Just finished my play-through of VA-11 Hall-A, which meant that I could submit my GOTY candidates to jshackles in good conscience. Cutting the list of this year's games down to just five was pretty tough, but it was an even tougher decision to include SFV on that list. However, considering how much I love this game and how much I am playing it (despite hating its unfinished state and hating Capcom being Capcom), I felt that I had to include it. I am also really glad that I picked up VA-11 Hall-A, thanks to the recommendations of SteamGAF.

(5 Points) - Stardew Valley
(4 Points) - Firewatch
(3 Points) - VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action
(2 Points) - Doom
(1 Point) - Street Fighter V
I think Stardew Valley should win GOTY because it is a game that, beyond any other I have played this year, embodies coziness. From the work of slowly building up your farm, to the small moments you share with the citizens of Stardew valley, individually and communally, and the sense of settling the community. Through and through, the game oozes charm and warmth in its music, art, and writing.

Yeah I think it was in alpha from their website for coming into beta on EA. It started in 2011 I believe but as a part time thing for at least awhile. It's super polished and fun and there's quite a lot, even if it takes a bit of time for them to roll out new updates.

I have submitted one, guess I'll cross my fingers.
As much as I think the Windows store is an absolute nightmare, when I had to refund Horizon 3 with nearly ten hours played they refunded me immediately after I explained my issues. I just hope Steam come through in this instance as well.
