If you've just started and did that merchant bully quest, I think that's like one of like two quest in that game that offer you a choice in taking a reward or not.

I think you just miss out in money if you don't take anything. Karma is just level up points and I believe you get those no matter what and isn't influenced by morality decisions (I don't think anything is).

I could be totally wrong though as it's been a while. It shouldn't be too much of an issue to do a quick search on the quest you're on to see if rewards are affected or not.

I've only played one other round and it was part of the single player campaign. I won that, but it's probably because it was only the first level.

Yeah, I'm aware that Valve's support team can be tardy (especially during/closely following a sale), however I think the worst I've experienced is my issue being fixed but my ticket not being updated, so it took me about a week to realise that somebody had replaced my buggered gift with a functioning one (since the gift was added manually it didn't trigger a notification).

Well that seems like a simple oversight of them but I can imagine that must have been annoying :/ Do they actually directly chat with people or does the support happen strictly over the ticket system?

Oh god Neotokyo... one of the greatest games/mods ever made but outside of community group meetups it sadly never managed to hold a userbase and apparently there were some problems with the developers aswell. It's a real shame, that game is sooo great! The closest you can find to it in terms of style would be Blacklight Retribution but the gameplay is a far cry from it

If you find online play overwhelming, playing against bots isn't a bad way to improve your map knowledge and gun handling. Obviously bots aren't perfect, though, and so they're better suited for the latter than the former.

Just when I thought I knew everything about international steaming, I learn something new.
During sale I went to http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=ru and opened the storepages of games I liked. Usually AAA games were locked so I didn't bother further.
Argh, such a shame. I really would have bought Dishonored GOTY and Skyrim GOTY at russian prices. Those games look just up my alley. This really gets me now.

Every experience I've had was with the ticket system. When my original account got locked over a misunderstanding, I had to go through like over 5 tickets. It took so long that I eventually just created my current account and got tired of dealing with it. Don't know if it's any different now though, last time I dealt with it like that was 2011. The account was eventually unlocked, but damn I really didn't feel like waiting 3 months lol.

The game still has the beta banner in my library's grid view but it has the full release banner in the store page. Same thing happened when I gave away The Wolf Among Us last month, the Modbot raffle and my library showed the episode 3 artwork but the store page had the episode 4 artwork. Weird...

It took them 72 hours to respond to my request for a ban lifting since it was their fault and was entirely unjust.

It's a basic platformer with a narrative about self awareness, friendship, and finding the place you belong.

It's not very long or difficult for the most part. Not a bad experience though.

Looking though a guide, it doesn't seem like you can miss Karma based on decisions nor do you rarely miss money. Etiquettes do affect some rewards though. I believe Shadowrunner, Corporate, and Academy are the best, in that order.

You shouldn't be strapped for cash in that game anyways. So choose whatever etiquettes you feel best applies to your character, if you're into that sort of roleplaying.

Finished up Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae a bit ago. Good stuff, although the last boss is a little bit bullshit. :lol

Definitely gonna replay it a bunch to unlock the rest of the costumes/moves and stuff, and maybe try out higher difficulties. It's pretty fun, camera problems aside.

Thanks, and yeah I really need more Gun Handling practice as well. Usually getting used to the maps doesn't take too long for me, just need to get acquainted with the new Breakout maps and whatever else was added in since last year.

Y'know I can't help but feel that Strider 2014 would've been much better if you played as Strider Alpaca and not Strider Hiryu.

I also can't help but think that it would've been much better if it was developed by a bunch of lovely Alpacas. Or Llamas. Or Emus. Or even Ostriches.

You tell me. Since watching Ghost in the Shell and Akira over a dozen years ago, I was always on the lookout for something similar. I'll give this a try tomorrow, maybe ask gaf if they want to join.

Bit OT but unlike PSN/XBL Steam doesn't offer a global chat-system, right? How do you guys talk during games? While playing BF3 co-op today, my partner didn't know the mission was over and we had to go to the heli. Strangely chat only works in MP not in CO-OP, so I couldn't tell him. I shoot in his direction, jumped in font of him and it took some time before he got the message. Talking while playing would be nice.
