wheres that from

edit: what the fuck Red Solstice also got a price drop, I just bought a 4pack the other day too >_>

stop dropping prices on early access games you fuckers :(

Not really, if i wanted real bank i would have hoarded 15-20 copies and then resold in a couple of weeks for 30-40$.

I sold all my copies to GAF except 1, which I'm keeping in case i actually manage to get a computer that can run Witcher 3.

As for witcher 3: We have had a good run my friend. Adios amigo :(

you're good peoples, Russian Bear

Infinity Runner is the worst name that game could have come up with, it actually looks cool but everyone will ignore it thinking its in fact... a infinite runner >_>

Anyone here doing strictly PC gaming?

I already sold my Vita, PS3 and Xbox 360. But I'm considering getting rid of the 3DS and Wii U as well.

And then just keeping my Gaming PC, PlayStation 4 and iPhone for my gaming needs.

I would like to hear how people with only a PC are doing. Or even a PC and PS4.
I'm essentially PC only atm, still have my PS2/PS3 and 360 set up (backlog) but they don't see too much use. I've pretty much cut portables out, they just don't fit in with my lifestyle and my PSP & DS collection have gone largely unplayed since I bought them. I play a few titles on my 3DS (not by choice, if these games were on PC I wouldn't even own one) No plans to buy any of the new consoles anytime soon, I just didn't find myself spending as much time with my ps3/360 as I did their previous iterations (they didn't really justify their existence to me until very late into their lifetime in terms of quality games/experiences) and with the closure of several studios in recent years and the increasing homogenisation of games, I don't feel like investing in a console when the indie scene is so vibrant on PC (also add in the resurgence of CRPGs and other "risky" titles powered by kickstarter). Most of the stuff I'm interested in will come to PC and the true exclusives I'll play down the line, picking up both them and the console somewhere down the line at a reduced price.

The biggest factor though comes in the cost of consoles games vs PC gaming, I'm so accustomed to Steam sales now that the thought of paying anything approaching full price for a console release is something I can't justify, doubly so when I have a huge library of backlogged games across many platforms. I'm not even completing many of the titles I have now, so I'd rather not burden myself with a new console I'll feel compelled to use to justify the expenditure. I do intend to get a PS4 somewhere down the line though.

TLDR: Previous gen soured me on the AAA market, decline of low/mid-budget titles eliminated variety on console platforms & I discovered I no longer have the free time I used to have and that PC alone keeps me well served.

Sakura Spirit's name is pretty bad, too. Sakura only shows up in like two scenes, why name the game after her? Then again, that's the least of that game's sin.

So I just got done absorbing my first soul in Skyrim, Jarls buddy was saying "how can we be sure he's a dragonborn!?" So I shouted at him.

Evidently they didn't like my evidence and proceeded to murder my ass.

Witcher 3 keys are now being region locked. CDProjekt caught on to the Russian's schemes. Dunder is also now out of keys so you'll have to find some other way to buy it.

Too late, Witcher 3 RU copies just got tagged. With a region lock likely incoming
I'm all out

17 Dollars.
Not going to be that cheap for awhile from regular sales.
I bought it asap just because of that.

Buy it! If you think you're gonna buy it in the future anyway, then it's definitely worth it to pick it up now while it's cheap and not region locked, other wise it'll cost anywhere from 47-60$ That's what pushed me over the edge, plus the like the Witcher series too much.

OK I did it guys:

8TF2 Keys and gone is my Wishlist #1.

Sub Zero

his body's cold as ice, but he's got a heart of gold
you cant buy Witcher 3 from russian anymore (unless someone still has some in inventory from before it was locked)

Traders are still able to get ROW copies with Russian pricing if I am not mistaken. It's an exploit that is commonly used for some games with seperate region locked RU/CIS subs. But yeah, even if you don't want to mess with the gray market better make an exception for the Witcher 3 because it's not going to reach that price point anytime soon

I really just wanna do something to make the time pass. Sleep from now until tomorrow or something, I dunno.

Do you have One Finger Death Punch? Install it and play it.
If you do not have One Finger Death Punch, get it off Indiegala, install and play it.
Just don't come back at me when the cops knock down your door because you been yelling all night like a drunk ass Bruce Lee

Just played an awesome L4D2 game with freshVeggie, Enco and Black Soma. There were some clutch moments in that game, like the raining cars, dodging the laser in a small hallway and the final escape with two or three tanks chasing us lol. Some intense sheet.

Not exactly, they changed the SUB = the witcher 3 you guys are now buying can now be either activation locked OR runtime locked. Before the US/RU subs were clumped together, now it is not.

If you buy now, very likely you can end up with a useless copy u can't even use without a RU VPN.

If you need a comparison, check my inventory, the first witcher 3 = prechange, the second witcher 3 = postchange.

This is going to different for everyone dependant on tastes and priorities.

I've been PC only since 2010. No problems at all with it and thoroughly enjoying it & the excellent services, value for money, massively diverse library, competitive nature and content and services that evolve faster and bring interesting new concept to the fore. Since 2006 I started buying via steam, and over time the experience has just got better and better, to the point where I feel my purchases on traditional systems (physical & digital) are a wasted investment, particularly when I enjoy going back to older games and have experienced bad service on the 360 and broken consoles including xbox OG, 360 and Gamecube most recently.

Almost everything I want is available on PC, and I have a decent backlog to keep me busy in rare periods of lack of content released. Games that are not available on PC but that I do want, simply aren't much of an issue to me as they eventually seem to reach the PC in good time and I've enjoyed watching that experience improve over time.

Of course no first party titles from console for me, but it doesn't feel like an issue at all with the mountains of content available to me, and the fact that most of those titles are uninspiring to me save for a minuscule minority & nintendo games particularly. I steer clear of the WiiU for now because of the sudden end to support of the Wii and their lack of stability for their digital infrastructure. When they can prove that their systems will receive long term support, that their services are reliable and backwards compatibility can be assured - I'll be right on board.

Frankly speaking though, PC gaming takes up as much time as I can really spend on gaming in the first place. I have no yearning for to spend more time gaming or with other systems. I'm also pretty happy that the experience and sense of community I find on the platform is really just fantastic. I don't think I could really do gaming any other way anymore.

Is it not still possible to buy witcher 3 cheap from gog through a Russian vpn?

I think that was mentioned earlier in the thread, just in case anyone still wants a cheap copy. Don't know how gog treats that sort of thing though.

Ugh I'm really tempted to pick up Divinity on the cheap now but I have a backlog of games, but at the same time I'm not enthused to finish my backlog because the games suck. Decisions decisions...
