if those are from humble (and I assume so), the ubisoft games are not steam keys

Yeah, seems to be an issue on Steam's servers that started last night. Sadly it's also affecting some of Enhanced Steam's features. Wilflare, this could be what's causing those errors you were talking about.

Thanks. I'll totally check it out. For some reason, I'm always interested in hearing about this side of the gaming industry from someone who is essentially a "little guy". It makes it more relate-able to me and helps to give an interesting perspective on things.

If you haven't played Origins then HELL YES. If you have, maybe wait a bit? I can't really recommend any non-touchscreen version since a good portion of the game was built around it.

Also, now i'm not entering Speevy's giveaway because I want to still qualify for chub's giveaway. Steamgaf problems, yo.

Yeah, I've noticed Steam reviews/forums seem to be as bad as YouTube comments for the amount of "What did I just read?" moments.

I did due diligence around the web and, sadly, it does seem a bit crap. A 29 fps limit makes it run slower than the old Amiga version, which is just criminal.

By everyone, I meant a large number of people. Playfire's system was easily abusable from the start and there was little to no risk getting caught initially. I know many people earned their rewards the hard way but sadly they belong to the minority

I still don't get why SteamGaf is so sensitive to this playfire thing though. When fantomena was caught cheating rewards some time ago many people called him out on this thread and insulted him instead of quietly reporting him to Playfire/GMG. I don't see how this helps, it just makes everyone upset and may potenitally drive members away from the community

I'm $14 short on GabeBucks for Wolfenstein. Maybe I should have waited to get Abyss Odyssey.

And Strider too, but I don't want to give Frosty the satisfaction.

When cards first came out, I spent more time and had more fun playing with the markets and such than I did playing any games. Was always the part of MMOs I ended up enjoying the most as well. It isn't as appealing now that cards are all so cheap, but it's nice always having money in my Steam Wallet when I want something.

For what its worth, idling for cards, I've generally spent 10-20 min per game to see if they were any good, or something I'd like to come back to later. I wasn't doing that previously.

As such, my Steam categories aren't by genre but have listings like:

Plan to play drained of cards
tried it, meh
heard it was bad, but will try anyway
20 min not enough play more later
completed games
completed an ending
active play
done for now, will play again

So I think that I'm finished up with State of Decay. I had a fun few hours with it, but the grind started to loom pretty heavy on me so a bailed before I sunk any more time in. I really liked the basic concept of meshing action with an open world survival sim. But the downside here honestly ended up being the whole sim part of it was actually too effective. Any individual supply run could result in moments of terror, but in general there was a large amount of "work" that you had to do to keep your camp stocked and the best was to accomplish that was in the safest manner possible. When I'd boot the game up I'd feel that I had a bunch of busy work to do (grab supply X, walk unhappy survivor around Y) that was vaguely tension filled, but often not very exciting in the moment. Combine that with main story missions that were also pretty hit or miss on fun factor and I choose to stop. Still was well worth the few hours that I put into it, they did some really cool things with this game.

Ah shit, I could have sworn it said 5 a few minutes ago. Maybe a price mistake on one of the pages, or I can't read. Oh well, not low enough for me then.

Edit: I used the back button a few times, and it did in fact say $5 on the store page for Prototype 2. Too bad I was too slow then.

I'm not entering (I'm currently playing the PS4 version via gamefly), but the game is pretty good so far. Thanks for the giveaway!

Also, I totally bought the humble bundle yesterday just for Cook Serve Delicious. It honestly doesn't seem appealing to me at all, but SteamGAF seems incredibly supportive of it, so I figured it's worth a shot. 65% CSD, 20% charity, 15% humble tip I think is the best split :p

I guess I might as well try out that Universe Sandbox one day.
