That's long time for ModBot to be unrestrained and a perfect opportunity for him to absorb us all into his sub-routines, so if you find the Steam thread empty on your return and a new Seersha Romulan avatar on ModBot you'll know shit went down.

"Stuck" gifts don't disappear (I have a copy of JA2 Gold in my inventory that's a year old at this point). You'll have to ask Valve to remove it.

Try to figure out the why of it. Is it a game that owning it gives you a second copy and you only gave one away? Did they happen to get the game from someone else at the same time and activate that one, leaving yours unclaimed but making it look like they took it? Did you have a strangely lucid dream about buying more copies of the game, only to wake up and find it in your inventory?

It's just a "Sometimes, things break" situation. I bought JA2 Gold during last year's Summer Sale and despite activating the gift (and receiving the games) it didn't leave my inventory. The "ghost" copy that remains in my inventory isn't redeemable, so for all intents and purposes it's broken. One of these days I'll get around to submitting a ticket about it.

Oh okay. Yeah 2n2 definitely redeemed it because it's in his library and he made reference to the size of it. I just didn't want to try to send it on or add it to my library, only to have it disappear from his.

I'll just leave it alone for now until I'm positive he can play the game.

It's in my library and downloading. It'll be a while before I can play it though.

Sigh. The day I finally win Shovel Knight lightning decides to hit the house or something and I can't boot my pc. Can't get into bios or Windows, just gives black screens. Surge protector I had apparently did nothing.

Which reminds me, I need to comb through the Summer Sale item list and make note of those that count as DLC. During the Winter Sale I bought all but the Extraordinary items so I'll probably do the same here, prices permitting.

getting the russian quakecon bundle gives you the uncensored wolfenstein. Ive just played the first level. Swastikas and Nazis everywhere. No VPN or anything like that needed

Thats great, because i really do not want to get that DE Version at all. However i don't really feel like dropping ~40€ on that bundle right know even though i know that it probably is the only way and maybe even the only chance to ever get the uncut version of that game ... :/

I just hope Bethesda won't pull that shitty region restriction with Doom again should a separate german version be required again.
