Didn't want to spoil anything, so I didn't read your impressions post. But I'll give it a try again. The first 3 eps. were so peaceful, I am interested in how this harem anime garners so much love.
This new artstyle is so very pleasing to my eyes. And I hear only praise for Higurashi. This is on my to-watch-out-for-list now.
Turns out Higurashi for Steam release WILL be getting new art, and feature new effects and such as the game is being made in Unity to port it out to multiple platforms.
First Chapter of the visual novel will release on Steam later this year, you can also buy the original game with the updated translation from their website, and people who bought the original game from their website will get the new translation and updated version at no cost at all.

You must be literally the only person in the world who didn't already own that, it's been dirt cheap and on sale in the past several sales.
Well, Minecrafts popularity made them popular for making those videos. Now they have a rather large company, and a load of different channels with different people creating content.
I think they do more than just Minecraft, but that's probably the reason they are so popular. Kids are really into that Minecraft thing these days.

It was an anime that got internet famous from gifs and such, it was actually surprisingly okay despite a few questionable things. However, the show has an ending most HAAAAATE, most of the show there is very little to no suggestion of incest, but the show went the incest route out of the blue at the end, made even stupider by a number of other reasons. The little sister the show is titled off of is literally the most annoying character on the show and the show teases you for a while that he may be going with best girl, making a lot of people salty. Anime Internets reaction to this was rather hilarious.

No, GeDoSaTo works, the game simply doesn't support resolutions higher than 1080p.
Turn of GIF and Images in the NeoGAF options ( They are replaced by toggle buttons).
It's the only way I can tolerate the Steam threads anymore.

It shouldn't be, but the show offers an explanation for its name outside of the obvious early on and trust me when I say it teases better possibilities, it's one of those things you had to be there to truly understand it, or watch it not knowing the outcome. And the outcome is even worse than you might expect, though saying why wouldn't make sense in context.
