Hey, Homefront is back for sale on Steam as of 2 weeks ago. 19.99. No word if the online servers are back up. Edit: Apparently they are.

Some words of advice:
- This is not a good game and you should not buy it.
- If you want to buy it to own it for collection purposes, you should probably buy it. There's no guarantee that Crytek will continue to exist for longer than the next month or so and if they go under, there's no guarantee anyone will snap up the IP.

More like Ultima: world interaction is paramount, environmental puzzles abound, it's more about exploration than combat. Combat is a little like Baldur's Gate, but not really.

I don't have interest in that diablo style game, atm.

You say that but it runs surprisingly well when you tailor the settings to your system. I played it at an above acceptable level of performance and visuals on a clunky old laptop while having a GPU dilemma. It's at the bleeding edge settings that your GPU gets punished so have a play around with the settings and I'm sure you'll get it looking peachy and running smooth as well even on older hardware. Just don't expect Uber Sampling be friendly and it will more than likely drag your framerate to single digits

getting it for me and the bros to play occasionally but i just wanted to know if it was just a MP experience only.
