is it region locked or something? (I mean, why aren't you buying it from ru traders?)

It's not available in Eastern Europe, unfortunately.

it says PT there in the available countries but I only see the remastered version which I assume you have

The app store page was pulled yonks ago, but the sub itself is still available. I'd prefer the help of a UK user (Dr Dogg is on the case) as 14 pounds is a wee bit cheaper than 20 Eurobucks.

You guys can preorder HuniePop from their site right now. It uses the Humble Widget and you will get both the drm-free uncensored version and steam key for the censored version.
It doesn't sound like you actually get both versions via Humble though. From here

"If you pre-order HuniePop via Humble you will be getting the steamy version, of course.
Now, this is the cool part. All Kickstarter and Paypal backers will get BOTH the Steam and Steamy versions of the game. That’s right, if you backed the game you get both whether you want them or not. So, ignore whatever you put down on the backer survey because it no longer matters, you get both! Yeah! ^.^"

It's kind of confusing but the Steamy version is the uncensored DRM-free version.

Welp. Well, at least I get the uncensored version I guess. Will probably double-dip later.

sold!

edit: wait the steam version will be censored? :(

I don't know if it's dialogue like this that they'll be censoring. I'm getting the impression that the game is supposed to be pretty sexually explicit. That's the stuff I'd see getting the axe for the Steam version.

Cladun X2 looks like fun, but it doesn't look like $19.99 fun, if that makes sense. In terms of presentation, etc., it puts me in mind of stuff like Half-Minute Hero (the first one's down to $9.99 now, and it's been bundled, too) or a lot of the indie pixel art dungeon games. If it was priced similarly to those (say, $5-10) or it dropped to 75% off at sale time, I could see them shifting some units.

A few Japanese based publisher have had some odd prices on Steam starting off, namely NIS and recently Tecmo Koei. Compared to the other similar games on the market and their prices on similar digital platforms like PSN I was a bit surprised the Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z was so bloody expensive. Surely the must have know very few people were going to buy it at the European prices? I don't know how much the less focused PC market and large second hand market in Japan affected their decisions but digital PC sales are a whole different beast and pricing is key.

Wasn't there also a version Afternoon of Darkness or something of Disgaea 1 that also released on PSP? Disgaea series would be amazing on Steam :D Also my Vita has become the same thing, but it's really the main reason I love it. Whenever I go out somewhere, I've been playing Suikoden 1 for like the 3rd time. Now if only we could have number 2

Oh I've got the first via PSN already ;). Tempted to pick up the second at some point seeing as it can be transferred to a Vita now apparently. 3 is kind of sat on the shelf but I'm tempted to pick up 4 at some point too! I've only heard of the legend that is Suikoden 2 but after seeing how much it costs to get a second hand copy I have no idea why Konami isn't trying to get in on that market? Might be a licencing reason I guess.

Wait so the version up on Steam is going to be censored? Bloody hell I hate to even think what the uncesored version is going to be like.

Firefall looks decent enough tbh, Im surprised its PVE oriented, I always thought it was mostly a multiplayer shooter.

Looks like Destiny-lite, but im sure Destiny will be hailed as the GOAT but this will be considered shit, even tho they dont look that different game wise (graphics wise its another issue)

Then again, I enjoyed Defiance for the 20 hours or so I played so /shrug

Well, to be fair, the devs did say that releasing a censored version on Steam was entirely their own decision.

Yeah, I didn't mean to suggest that the uncensored version was knocked back, but I won't be certain that Valve has loosened the noose on AO titles until Manhunt 2 appears. ;)

Honestly, even if they allow Manhunt 2 on Steam, I still think it would be a while before straight up porn games get on Steam uncensored.

The Room appears to be an excellent port so far. There is a nice set of 10 or so graphical options and it looks really nice maxed out. The puzzles feel good with a mouse, I don't feel like it's losing much going from touch.

I bought it right before the announcement for Android and five minutes in already wished I could use a mouse. Touchcontrols are just so unwieldy, no matter how slow the gameplay is.

Firefall had Crystal Graziano cosplaying to promote the game.

Your move, Destiny. :p

I'm going to have to check out Defiance now that it's gone F2P. A friend of mine tried it and said he didn't like the way it controlled - said it was "too twitchy" - but I'm a fan of the show, so I'd be interested in messing around with the game if I can find the time.

I thought touch worked pretty well when I played it on iPad, but then it doesn't demand precision really I guess.

Here are some screens of the first puzzle, showing off some of the new effects they added like ambient occlusion and a nice depth of field.

haha. I'm not the only one then!

It was basically a shitty third person borderlands. Just good mindless shooting with light rpg elements. I enjoyed it in the same way I enjoyed EDF insect armageddon.

had some cool weapons tho, I loved the ones that shot little bugs

Firefall looks more than decent, im kinda semi-excited. Actual "spells" for the classes, mobility seems great with the jetpack (not sure if every class has that tho), weapons look ok, its very colorful (which im into)... yeah I think ill give this a go tomorow. Wonder how the F2Playness of it is

Looks great, is this game like Myst?

Selknam Defense got a publisher, and it's unknown if it will still have keys for the bundles it was in.
Speaking of which, Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon keys are now also available for Bundle in a Box.
