Ugh, half an hour of Witcher 3 and I'm good for a while again.
I'll wait for 1.0.7, whenever it drops, and see if they fixed the fucking retardo animation-based movement.

You... You don't move a lot in real life, do you?

Because that's, uh, how, uh, movement works.

Movement, uh, finds a way

edit: Valve. How can you be this rich, and yet this incompetent at network management and software engineering?

You'd almost think they were sodding hobbyists. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

All I wanted to do was play a little bit of Dirty Bomba...

Sigh.

The game shouldn't make me bump into EVERY FUCKING NPC IN THE WHOLE FUCKING CITY because it's not done doing its little animation.
It's a fucking game.

Does it pass the Turfster Test?

Can it be played with one hand?

I'm sorry, Turfster.

Oh, uh, top of the page... Here's the Batmobile fail gif again so this space isn't a complete waste.

shut uuuuuuuuuuuuuuup
I'm having so much fun with Dishonored, this game is incredible. I just
saved Emily. I got the safe combo for Slackjaw, so I could continue my non-lethal route. I love how I didn't even have to bother with any of the targets this way.

I have the time power at lvl 2 and it's a pretty big help, I can just avoid encounters altogether.

What's weird though is that I'm definitely not killing anyone (or trying to), but so far I get like 1 or 2 kills each mission. I only use sleep darts or choke, I don't see how anything could register as fatal, I don't ever draw my sword or gun.

With the tools the game gives you, going the non lethal route is a lot easier than I thought. Nevertheless, replaying this with fatal results seems fun too.

So far?

Best: Europa Universalis IV. Sorry, Witcher 3. I love map painting just too much. It's really amazing how much fun this game is after you put several dozen hours into understanding it. And I only played a bit vanilla and am still at my first Extended Timeline game. Seeing how much hours the Grand Strategy Gaffers have, I am have a lot of fun in front of me. I will never beat 52.

Worst: Sakura Shit Fantasy. This piece of shit is the worst game I played this year, with Sakura Shit Spirit being the worst I played last year. Arkham Knight was bad in the technical sense, but the Sakura games are bad in their very reaking existence as shit stains. They prove a malevolent god, because only a endlessly kind deity could balance out the cold flames of Visual Novel hell where Sakura Satan sits on his throne of piles of usesless dirt that is ranked F in the Arland series. The frequent new releases are the slow rapture of this wretched world to punish humanity for it's sins.
not even your love for VN games could've saved sakura fantasy eh? i can already tell it was shit :p
Best : Freedom Planet , got all the achievements of that game just to have a reason to keep playing it , so good , hope the extra characters come out soon so i can play it again

Worst : Bombing Bastards , basically tries to be bomberman but it fails , too slow and boring , is not really that bad but compared to the other games ive played this year is the worst
freedom planet is the sonic looking game right? i was interested in it but figured it was a cheap sonic copy cat game so didn't even bother with it
For the best, Infinifactory, easily. Scratches that same SpaceChem itch while dialing down the difficulty a tad. It's just so damn satisfying to watch your factory do its thing, doubly so if it's horribly inefficient.

As far as worst goes, I think I've gotten lucky this year so far. Looking through my "Never Again" category on Steam, I don't think I've played any of the games in there this year.

That said, I'd have to say GTAIV, simply for being so damn disappointing. I loved San Andreas, and was really looking forward to going through IV after picking up it and the expansions for fairly cheap recently. I still haven't gone through Gay Tony yet (and people have told me that that's the best part), but the base game and Lost and the Damned were just so bland. I get that they were going for a smaller game world, but that doesn't excuse the lack of variety in the missions. Great vehicle handling, but that's about it.

yea gta4 is really boring. i didn't like the game much. like why was everything brown? i live in nyc and let me just tell you as I'm sure you already know, nyc doesn't have a god damn shit filter on everything. also found the story and car handling to be shit. at least it has good cheat codes unlike gta5, gta5 might have the most interesting story mode(to me) but it has the worst cheats in the series. i don't even boot up the game anymore like i do previous gtas cause its not as fun reeking mayhem around the city since there aren't that many good cheats.

i literately just left Orlando this afternoon. i was in Kissimmee for an audition monday

to be fair, i left like 7 hours ago
I didn't know pornstars has to fly to auditions now. Don't they have a local agency where you are?
faith didn't want us to see each other </3

Just saw the trailer for Prototype Biohazard Bundle. It's only for PS4/Xbox and not PC, so I assume there is no new stuff to PC versions?

$143.35 USD for a GTX 970 from EVGA

In store pickup only so get ready for a drive
Dang that's a good deal.
I had missed the Steam deal and regretted it. Great to have a second chance so soon after.

*Never played Dark Souls II
DS2 is fun. Real fun. FS has refined a lot which leads to much less downtime compared to DS1 in CoOp. DS1 has the better hub, Firelink Shrine is so much more memorable than Majula to me. Dunno if it's the colors or it being too busy in DS2. DS2 has a lot of variety in areas and some are just plain gorgeous.
It really is a great game though. Totally recommend. DLC is bit of a bummer so far though sadly. Only played Frozen DLC and they upped the gangbanging - even more than the base game which already was heavy on it!
oh dear
You’ve requested a bunch of refunds recently.
lol? How unprofessional is that?
Guys, I'm dumb and need your help...

I posted this in the PC build thread without a response yet

I installed some of these over the years but never had to remove one for some reason until now :p
Your cooling unit reminds me of a V motor.

Sorry man :(
Had no clue you where in the artistic field.
Eh, kinda bummed I didn't bite at 16 bucks for Arma 3 in summer sale.

It's got nothing on this bad boy

Derek Smart... Man, I forgot about this troll. I've interacted with him before; he's definitely a cunt and nothing short of arrogant and really quite self-righteous. I also remember reading, some years ago, about him sending threatening mail to Origin back in the day, accusing them of stealing his ideas for their games.

Such a drama queen ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Like Batman, that site is saying it's unavailable.

wot.

Apparently I move janky in real life, because throw 70 hours looks good here.

Can't speak for Turfster, but trying to fight the card game elf jerk is a nightmare because he can hit faster and doesn't have stun animations that you do.

why did gothic II go on sale today? I'll miss out on it. LAAAAAAME :(
I will attain that luck... Soon™ hopefully.

F-Florida?

that is why Shadownet said "Orlando, FL," yes.

Saw people pricematch the 980 for 300 or so a few days ago. Americans sure are lucky :/

What? How? Where?!

Oh, uh, top of the page...

Not in my world.

Before I forget and it goes to waste, anyone wanting this 75% discount for Goat sim can have it. Just send me a PM or chat message.

I think just about everyone was given at least one of those; I myself have two rotting in my inventory. I was hoping maybe it would work on GoatZ DLC, but alas, it doesn't.

I'm a bit late, but sure, I'll jump in on the best worst thing started by Chariot, though I'm indecisive today, so you're getting a few titles for each:

Best: DMC4SE - not only does the original game still shine, but with updated visuals, new characters, and new achievements, this will make my GOTY list for sure.
:pc: Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin - felt like an entirely new experience -- I effed up some things in my playthrough (I ended up finishing the game and hoping I could trigger the new boss afterwards before starting NG+, unfortunately, that's not the case.) It was also neat seeing new item placements, new enemy placements, higher count in enemy mobs, and playing with a larger group in jolly co-op sessions.

Worst:
A Bird's Story - had high hopes after To the Moon... however, the story didn't grab me and it just felt like it slogged on and on.
Ibb & Obb - Tons of glitches and some rather high difficulty spikes hindered enjoyment while co-oping.
Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter - I don't understand this series. I understand what they're going for, but the lack of consequence when you die while playing co-op really takes out any sense of progression or accomplishment.

Posting to you all on my 3DS from a hotel in sunny* downtown Miami. Not sure how much I'll be around - for obvious reasons - but what do I find? Way of the Samurai 4 will be 40% off the whole time I'm gone? If anyone would be so kind as to acquire a giftable copy of said game for me, I'd be most appreciative and get you back (with a game of equivalent value, or wallet funds if we can figure that out.) Just shoot me a PM and I'll do my best to get back to you in a timely fashion. Thanks!

Also, whilst I'm here, I'd like to add that lashman is a pretty cool guy. Eh posts gaems and doesnt afraid of anything. I may not be interested in 100% of his material, but I value his input to SteamGAF.

Take care, people!

So thanks to varagtP, I got my loot hero dx key. That level 100 achievement seems a little far off, but I'm liking the additions from loot hero (had it on desura, played quite a bit). Not sure about the miner additions, money isn't a problem in the game (plus a 99999 cap, makes it kind of useless)

But I do love upgrading speed, and then just watching everything disappear into a epileptic inducing blur

Bjarkhov Bomb mission went so much worse than the Meat Party. Just a fucking bloodbath, hundreds dead and zero incentive to go stealth on that one. not a fan of the wide open stage where the trial and error aspects really become irksome compared to a confined area, where you can save scum a bit easier to figure out differently approaches.

So yeah, Hitman Contracts has some highs and lows so far but I'm really enjoying it. I look forward to eventually getting to blood money and then seeing what all the fuss regarding absolution was about.

So you get a code from Indie Royale and redeeming it on that site gives you a Steam key? I bought that bundle but I hadn't heard about that.
The Dev just posted a topic in the game's discussion thread, so its really hard to find these things yourself.

The keys added group on Steam is a good one that keeps track of these things:

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/KeysAdded

Also, you should subscribe to the main keys added thread if you have a lot of greenlight stuff.

Just discovered Homeworld: Remastered has a pretty significant story scene cut from Cathedral of Kadesh and there is possibly some more dialogue missing from various points at the game because some scenes felt a bit awkward (and I didn't bother comparing it with the original). How could they fail so hard is beyond me. The core game is still amazing, of course, but what was supposed to be the definitive version is inferior to the original in multiple ways.

I'm actually a member of the keys added group, but it seems like 90% of my Greenlight games are on Groupees, so I stopped checking the group after Groupees added notifications. I'd also pretty much written off any Greenlight titles from Indie Royale.

Well I've already blown through my free 6 hours on Dragon Age Inquisition, I should probably buy this game sometime, it's pretty great, and multiplayer scratches that Mass Effect 3 multiplayer itch.

Damn, I didn't realize they actually edited the games, I just assumed it was a visual overhaul because that was what they always focused on pre-release. I don't think I really agree with them taking it that far. It reminds me a lot of the Black Mesa dev team's attitude towards Xen, which I also dislike.

I appreciate you bringing it up.
