Damn at batman probably not being fixed till September. Wonder what the sales and state are going to be like for mad max on pc. 2 shit ports in a row and now consumers on steam finally have the right they shouldve had since day 1 on steam, the ability to get a refund.

Who said mad max port wise was bad? That's all Avalanche and they have done fine PC ports before.

How you know its all avalanche when we didnt find out someone else was working on thr pc port of batman till the game came out?
Edit: oooh are you assuming i meant mad max was the 2nd bad port? Nah the 2 games i meant was batman and mortal kombat x

Man, the Steam version of Trackmania 2 has one of the weirdest "bugs".
I started playing it again over the last days and had some kind of micro stutter every few seconds and couldn't figure out why.

Found the solution after some google-fu... log out of your Steam friend list o_O

No joke, the game runs as smooth like butter as soon I set my status to offline.

How?

I'm not sure if its been mentioned anywhere yet but I was looking on Newegg at Nvidia GPUs cause I was thinking of upgrading and noticed that the new game being bundled with them is MGSV: The Phantom Pain. Makes it a bit easier for me to want to pull the trigger since I was gonna be paying full price for it in September anyways.

It's about protection of arts and fantasies. You are free to hate it, but ultimately drawn lolicon shouldn't be any less banned that other deviant sexual fantasies.

This should mean I cang et a cheap copy of it, was going to buy it anyway so cheaper is always better.

That thread is really one of those threads you should stay out of if you don't want to be banned, really strong opinions from both sides and I'm pretty sure I know what side the neogaf mods will take if it goes to far.

Oooh so i guess ill get the game on pc too earlier than I originally planned (was going to wait till it was on sale since i got it pre ordered on ps4 as well)

I think that those junior idol sexual innuendo DVDs are far more harmful than any lolicon...

I wonder why those are still legal over there.

Because it's a taboo subject, and taboos are exciting. Also, let's be honest, there's a lot of horrifyingly simplistic people, with demonstrably simplistic views on psychology and sexuality, and it's infuriating to see people make false equivalency after false equivalency, with no regard for nuance.


On topic, No Man's Sky needs a release date, like right now. :l

Anyone here might be able to help me fix my Batman: Arkham City frame rate drops?

I'm getting terrible frame rate drops (must be single digits) at random in both closed and empty spaces. It's pretty well known DX11 and PhysX cause performance issues, but I've been playing without them since the start.

Turning off V-sync seemed to solve the issue for the most part the first time I played without it, but after that it went back to how it was with V-sync still being off
I'm searching for solutions and every answer seems to be about DX11 and PhysX

I just ran the in-game benchmark and it says

Minimum: 113
Maximum: 245
Average: 181

I'm assuming this is the frame rate? there were no frame drops or stuttering like I have in the game during the test

I mean it's not completely irrelevant given that some VNs very much cater to the sort of crowds that are into the drawn, overly sexualized child thing but i'll digress and go off to the other thread.

I would say a lot of VNs deal with the topic sexuality far more mature than a lot of western developed games. That might be the case because its more like a novel than a game and the whole game relies on good storytelling rather than gameplay.

On another note I started Nekopara last week but right now it feels kinda shallow. Just played it for like 30 minutes but the beginning was really standard.
