It would seem to be the usual game logic tied to FPS in the original game, according to the DF console face-off that Parship so kindly quoted in the other thread:

Both consoles turn in a stable 30fps with only minor frame-pacing issues interrupting the fluidity, particularly on Xbox One. While this may seem like a disappointment, the game was coded for 30fps originally and would not function properly at 60fps without overhauling core systems. According to one of the key programmers, the optimisation necessary to run at 60fps would have been minimal in comparison to the massive required overhaul of the game's underlying systems. It was simply beyond the scope of this project, which says a lot considering how many other changes were implemented.

I wouldn't call disabling DHCP (and thus internet access for a lot of people) a 'permanent' fix.

Which you will have to renew from time to time, depending on how your ISP has things set up.
Not sure how this works in the States, but in Poland most of ISPs don't provide static IP, or if they do it's a costly extra.

Now I'm a big Watch_Doggies fan as you all know but I wouldn't consider any of the DLC worth playing, especially the Deluxe Edition content. It gives you 3 missions that are out of context and done in 15 mins plus an outfit which like the rest in the game are just a pallet swap with one of the 3 other designs. There's the T-Bone Campaign DLC which is 3 hours worth of story and about 10 hours worth of content (well if you like checking off lists) and the Conspiracy digital trip DLC is alright but not as good as the other digital trips in the base game (Spider Tank is quite replayable I found). Also the Standard Edition and the Season Pass gets you everything.

Unless you, for some unknown reason, do not use a router, no.
You can set up your router to use whatever you want, and give your box a private static ip just as well as you can have it query your router's enabled dhcp.

But yeah, Edge and Cortana not working is probably why my win+s/win+f stopped working and lead to me now re-installing win8.1 for the time being. So personally, I'd recommend using the x360ce fix on a per game basis when necessary.

You should probably keep your opinions to yourself.

Can you mix and match? That is, if you buy the Steam Watch_Dogs version, can you get the uPlay only season pass from nuuvem and have it work?

For some reason, I thought you had to keep it all steam or no steam.

If you get the game on Steam you can only use the Season Pass sold on Steam. Same goes for buying the Uplay version as the additional content licences are not compatible (as well as all Uplay titles as Steam versions are separate apps including Season Passes). Couple that with you wont have licence rights on Steam so none of the content would get downloaded anyway.

Valve has pricing recommendations but publishers are free to ignore that in favour of their own model. If Valve had final say on pricing, there wouldn't be cases of products being most expensive -- sometimes to a significant degree -- in Eastern Europe.

Are you playing Condemned for the first time? Stick with it, Condemned's an example of where I think the second half of the game is much stronger than the first half, best parts of the game definitely chapters

What weird order? No one said non-book materials have to start from the beginning. Buy it? Sure, if you like the lore and settings. The rest is not very different from other Telltale games except a lot of characters died.
