A player stash? Fucking megaton! Can finally unload those many other Witcher sets I have in-between upgrades and whatnot! Aww yissss. Also intrigued by this 'optional' movement response mode... And I hope they've not improved the horse behaviour too much, I quite like Roach being as dumb as, err, a roach.

Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today is 50% on GMG, cheapest its been anyware I believe? There is also a 20% voucher so its even lower

in fact the whole Deadelic sale has other low point prices on some games I think

edit: also their summer sale starts on the 10th
Speaking of 200 unpaid interns...

76%off, came out today, it's 0.24$, has trading cards.

That's all the nice things I can say about it.

No cards yet:

I accidentally release Absconding Zatwor 2 days before planned release date so cards should start droping as soon as steam approves them. I will let you know when that happens.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

The Steam versions of Uplay games are technically separate to the "actual" Uplay versions. That's why they all have to be run through Steam and can't be launched from Uplay directly.

I had the Uplay version installed. Can't they just... you know... see the damn CD-key and the registered title on my Uplay account go "oh he already owns it" and launch the damn Steam version? :|

Even EA doesn't ask me to re-redeem a CD-key for Battlefield/Bad Company 2: They'll let me boot the Steam version and use my Origin/retail CD-key on the Steam version no-problem.

So, is there an API Squeenix can program in?
Their DirectX games have fucked framepacing.
Their OpenGL games straight up don't run at all.

Square-Enidos said:
"If FFXIV were to be developed in native OpenGL for Mac OS, it is expected that there would be a performance gap of approximately 30 percent compared the DirectX version...a low-spec Windows PC may run the game adequately, but a Mac system with equivalent hardware may suffer from greatly reduced frame rates, further exacerbating the performance gap."

Yeah, whatever you say Fail-Enidos...

If you install a test build prior to the Win10 release, is there some method of putting your license in and just converting it to the retail version without a clean/re-install?

That's a good question that I don't have an answer for.
I mean, if you do an upgrade installation from 7, 8 or 8.1, I assume it carries your license through that. And then when the retail build comes, it just upgrades like normal. Beyond that, I actually don't know. Haven't really looked into it.

Witcha 3 notes
That's a good list of changes. Looking forward to putting all my witcher gear in a stash instead of just dropping it on the street like some barbarian.

Waiting for Lightning Returns to pop up any day now ... yup, any day now.
They delayed it to Autumn.

  • Skill-based puzzles and elements of stealth
  • Supports Xbox 360 controllers

WWII tactical submarine combat!

Take command of a U-boat prowling the Atlantic in search of enemy convoys to sink. Sneak past the escorts and torpedo the transports. Or surface and use your deck gun in a daring night attack.

When the escorts come after you, drop decoys and sneak away before they can crush you with their depth charges.

Jump in for a quick convoy encounter, or launch a full-length War Patrol, seeking out the biggest, most valuable targets.

Features:
  • Smoothly blends a submarine simulator with arcade action.
  • Provides the tools for both stealth and offense; you decide how aggressive you want to be.
  • Multiple times of day allow for different play styles.
  • Location-based damage/repair affects the performance of your sub.
  • Random encounter generator for deep replayability.

  • Global leaderboards.

What is Ruin?

"An earthquake of cataclysmic proportions annihilates the world and ushers in what many address as “the end of times”. But is it really the end?

Join one man as he travels the world in order to unravel the truth behind these tragic events."

Ruin is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game in a medieval setting.

While it is a traditional JRPG at heart, it has supplementary features that help make it more modern in terms of gameplay.

Features:

  • Classic JRPG gameplay.
  • A refreshing take on the random battle system that rewards grinding, or allows you to skip fighting altogether.
  • Over a dozen side quests, many of which utilize a “fast travel” turn-in system.
  • Over 40 in-game achievements (three designed for those who want the most challenging experience).
  • A tiered crafting system with over 100 craftable items.
  • Semi-randomized loot system that encourages exploration. Over 750 lootable objects.
  • Two difficulty levels.

Should I create a new support ticket when they haven't responded for 7 weeks and I even added a new message week ago?

The story
It is an ordinary Saturday evening for Harvey Hachess as he leaves his favorite video club for a movie night. On his way back, he gets caught in the middle of a rain and a threatening storm. Suddenly, he’s hit by a lightning strike! Knocked out for few minutes, he goes on as if nothing had happened.

Once home, Harvey gets comfortable and plays a video tape, a bag of popcorn in one hand and the remote control in the other one. But something seems wrong as he realize that some scenes are missing from the movie! He puts in another tape, same result… He, then, checks all his cassettes one by one but stays out of luck.

As the last tape was ejected, the VCR made a strange sound and the screen lightened up. Harvey founds himself sucked into the TV. He finds there a great opportunity to re-record all the tapes without risking the loss of his Video Club membership.

O.O

Damn, I bought it during the Steam sale. Hoping it's still less than two weeks. Can't really remember.

The dude who made the game said in another forum that it won't get as cheap as during the summer sale again in the near future. So this is probably a mistake, asking for a refund could mean you lose the game AND miss this price.

Welp, I swore to not support him because he has acted like a humongous wanker in the past but whatever....

^If derExperte is right it'd probably be a good idea to wait a day before asking for a refund.
