I'm looking for a US friend to help me buy and ship some games here to Canada. Shipping to Canada from some places is pretty expensive, so I've been thinking of finding a solution to this. It basically involves you buying some games for me and holding on to them, and once there's a group of them, ship them in a box for maximum cost efficiency. I'll Paypal Gift you the money in advance. The sites I'm looking to buy from include Ebay, LRG (company that makes physical Vita copies) and Amazon. Some items are limited and sell out quick, so if you're the type who's online often, the better. I'll let you know in advance as much as possible what to buy Please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm only looking for members with long, good-standing in the community.

I have some free time these days, so I try some games in my backlog.

Cornerstone was a game I helped kickstart for $10 when I was more naive.

The project was ambitious, way too ambitious. In fact, the game could have been released at the same time as Croc, at the very beginning of 3D games: everything is flat, textures are not bump-mapped, the game consists of fetching quests, and the dialogue are shot in an amateurish way (step 1: line of dialogue, step 2: change of camera view to focus on another character, step 3: this character is going to talk, step 4: go to step 1).

I was enjoying more the few hours I have spent on this iOS port called Oceanhorn, which copies Wind Waker in all possible ways, but with less charm.

Good surprises so far:

• Badland, which is once again an iOS port, too dark (visually), with funny mechanics, and way too many levels,
• Stick it to the Man: a point-and-click puzzle game, very dark (regarding the dialogue), with very cynical views of people, hypocrisy, faux-semblants, etc., with lots of polish for a small game.

they've had a Mordor + DLC bundle for many months now and are currently doing a WB sale with Batman, LEGO, etc so I doubt it's any of those

I want HD remasters of some 70-80s classics. Sam's Missing, Getting Stuck in a Fridge, Creepy Uncle, Creepy Photographer, Creep Counselor, and definitely a runaway/homeless kid episode. Then I want a few HD Remakes of those 90s ones (Saved by the Bell, Fresh Prince, Full House).

edit: that might cost more than 3 dollars, though. Humble needs to get on that.

Between most of their sales and the death of Playfire Rewards, it's hard to be excited for GMG anymore.

That said I did get both Dogma and Doom for very cheap from them thanks to coupons, so plus one for those when they're valid.
