I just started playing the first one, it is a very cool game. I can see this being a "replay every now and then" type game. Looking forward to seeing more of Osiris.
You should ask if its Valve related. Being steam related could mean a lot of things that aren't so exciting.

50$~ CAD for Witcher 3, Rise of Nations and both the Metro Redux games. The Steam Russian sale is on all year round
The real sale is getting TF2 keys cheaper. The 'games on sale' part is just a front for the key market.
So Thief will be $15 then? Tempting, though it'll probably hit cheaper next week at some point.
Can someone say something redeeming about Thief? I want to talk myself into it.

this idea that the summer sale has magical higher discounts needs to end, because A) it doesnt and B) it only leads to "MAN IT USED TO BE BETTER" when in reality, it didnt

I should try playing more Thief, ran in the 40s with my 670 but when I tried it with my Ti and 4XSSAA it still held 60. Wasn't a fan of what I played, but I did choose the slower movement modifier and other stuff. Was hilarious failing the mission upon a bird hearing me.
As someone who loved Dishonored I certainly wasn't getting any of those itches.
