Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Thanks! Enhanced Steam seems to spread like wildfire due to word of mouth advertising, so I'm sure you're right.

I'm playing on Normal. I guess that's the fight I just got through (finally!)
Such an insane difficulty curve. Combat's has been a cakewalk most of the time, with only a couple of deaths at the hands of those "damaging when hit" basterds and during (read: QTE's) bossfights. I actually really liked the combat in the first half, even though the animations can make it feel a bit stiff and clunky at times, but they throw so many dudes at you later on. It gets really annoying.
I somehow rarely pull that off. I almost alway's lose my combo. Maybe i'm just not fast enough.
I think they should have made combat more like the Arkham games or waaay less. It's somewhere in between now, and it just feels weird. Might also be because i've played an insane amount of the Arkham games, though.
Yeah, they're really annoying. I guess they made them so you would change your combo's to be more healing oriented. Again, I feel like the combat system is in a weird place where it has some depth, but just not enough for the played to really be able to strategize to the situation at hand.
Those memory remixes, though. That's some cool and slightly fucked up stuff. I want more of those.

And Alpha 2 is a pretty terrible port, missing animation frames and all...
(way better to just buy and then MAME the game)

The standalone was updated a couple of weeks ago, you might want to uninstall / reinstall and see if that fixes the issue. Valve changed one of their IP addresses. Also, if you're running the launcher, does it say "Enhanced" in green? It could be an issue with the rinetd process not relaying correctly.

The Patreon campaign is going well. Over the last few months I have been able to pay for the server costs without dipping into my own pocket, which has been nice. I've been able to upgrade the servers that Enhanced Steam runs it's API on, and donations and Patreon pledges helped make that happen.
I've attempted several times to get a job at Valve, working on the Steam engineering team, but unfortunately I've been turned down each time. I've found that I even have a loyal fanbase among Valve employees, so I guess it's only a matter of time before I break through.
According to wikipedia it was released in Europe. Think I saw it once too.

I think it's a pipedream, but it's one that I'm hoping for as well.
why? It's in english, but it was a bad port, a game used to crash, as far as I can remember, I doubt it ever was fixed.
Expect 25% off at best. The game won't even be a month old (well, barely) by the time the sale starts.

That's quite impressive!
In fact it's an amazing tool and can come in quite handy and now I check it each time before buying anything Steam-related.
I think it got one or two real patches, and it's still bit of a buggy mess, last I tried it. Though apparently some people have played through it without a single bug.
I'd probably play it again.

I think it only started happening after I updated it a week ago when I had trouble accessing the inventory due to the IP address change. I tried reinstalling with the latest version a couple of days ago but it still had the same problem. Launcher has Enhanced in green as always.

Those GOG sales look pretty good, but seeing Blackwell Epiphany "coming soon"...I can only wonder how much it'll be discounted with less than two months on the market. I'm guessing 33%?

It's a port of the PSX ver. and I have that game actually. It's a decent port but nothing amazing.
I'm not sure I have it still, but I remember it being pretty bad as pots go, it used to be very unstable on PC and it was wide spread problem, with game crashing often, I'm almost sure it's unplayable now, while PS version was good.
edited: also it's a great game, I would like some magic done on port and brought it back to life on gog or steam, or both.

In the 24 hours I put into the game I encountered 4 crashes, all of those happening in the first 10 hours of the game. I guess I was lucky?
Great game though. If you can get it for cheap, I'd say it's worth the risk.
*edit* although you should probably go for the PS version and not deal with any risk
