Yep. Awesome games with awesome music. Falcom Soundteam JDK makes some of my favourite music ever. An interesting fact, one of the main composers for JDK is now a composer for an eroge developer. In fact, some of you have already played games he composed for: *eden is one of them.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
I just finished Oceanhorn, it took about 10 hours and I completed the game with 81%. I spent an extra 2-3 hours just doing side content that's available right towards the end of the game because I was having fun and didn't want it to end. I unlocked 55/63 achievements, the other 8 would probably take me quite a while to complete. All but three of them are tied to collectibles, most notably the fishing mini-game (which is fun) but gets really tedious and slow after a while. One fishing guide I read said that the achievements for fishing can take around 8 hours by themselves.

I really liked the game - it was fun and engaging and had some really great puzzles. Although it's obviously a Zelda clone, there were even a few things I liked about it and thought were done better than Zelda. I really liked that killing monsters gives you experience points and that you gain levels throughout your adventure and that those levels are actually meaningful. For example, sometimes when you level up you get the ability to carry more bombs or arrows, or sometimes you get new abilities you can do with your sword like a spin attack or shoot beams of light when you're at full health.

The story was surprisingly deep, and the characters were pretty cool too. I thought the voice acting was pretty laughable but it's not something that happens often - just key scenes throughout the game. I also really liked the exploration aspect and the fact that there was so much you could do in the game.

For me, it's probably in the top 5 of my 2015 GOTY contenders right now.

Spent like 6 hours playing Arkham Knight today. Frame rate still suck ass but i'm 80% done with the main story and mostly done with all the extra stuff.

You can do whatever you want with your personal finances. That's not an issue. The game will get made, too, so that isn't an issue either.

The idea that you get to hold something over people with "I told you so!" is what's objectionable.

I'm just not sure what you think people's expectations for this project are. We're getting another game funded by fans so it can be as uncompromising as possible. The idea that it has to be all or nothing is just weird and doesn't strike me as something a person who has been waiting for this game all these years would say.

Notwithstanding that the idea we won't get some resolution is a faulty premise anyway. Ryo's arc is long and the main bad guy of the first two games is only a small part of the narrative. We may get that part of the story resolved in this game. Or we may not. I don't care: I want Suzuki to make the game he wants and I want to play the game he makes.

Man, I love Tested. All the stuff they have with Adam Savage is brilliant. Just spent four hours listening to Still Untitled.

Also, something something videogames.

*Note they did mention, uh, like Half Life in one of the episodes, so it's totally videogame related. And Steam, and things.

Regarding BBT. I think its a mindless sitcom. Just watch it when its on and thats it. There are people totally following each episode though and rewatch it over and over again. I remember someone said Schrödingers Cat was a joke from BBT.

I also like to play games on a poorly coded N64 emulator.

I tried to watch and see what all the fuzz was about but I can't with the mix of the unlikeable cast and reheated jokes from the internet and the original "smart" jokes.

Bazinga is the shittiest catchphrase of all catchphrases. It's like someone tried really hard to incorporate it, pushing it in your face until it finally catches on. But now people just dislike it instead.

Kaley Cuoco was so much better when she was on 8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter.

The voice acting was pretty bad. I've heard much much worse, but in this game it just didn't quite click right. If it were a scale from worst to best, it'd be really close to the middle though slightly closer to worst.

There is probably only about 10 minutes of voice acting total, so it's really not that big of a deal.

Also - happy birthday Kiru!

And Big Bang is indeed terrible.

Kaley Cuoco was never good tho. She ruined the final season of Charmed. (which was already lowering in quality after Prue left the show.

This is the second time I've read some of your thoughts on the game and it's pushed it onto my pickup list. I loved the look of the game but didn't think it could break through the feeling of being a clone of a greater game series, but after reading your experience it's definitely something I'd enjoy playing, especially the short game time.

I'll admit, I haven't really watched BBT outside of promos, but it seems like a geek show targeted predominately to non-geeks who have a certain narrow-minded view as to how most actual geeks are.

Like shows about high school or detective work. Or everything, really.
