I switched ISPs back in October. My pings, while not always perfect, are much more consistent than before. I'm going to wait another three months before I hop back on that horse, though, as I'll be waving goodbye to ~6Mbps ADSL and rolling out the red carpet for 100Mbps fibre.

Wendy's has better burgers, but the worst coffee or the best coffee, depending on whether you like it black. I don't know how they do the cream and sugar, but there's just no flavor.

PC can already emulate it with PPSSPP, so better graphics is uh...?

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
The PS4 already has a lot more Final Fantasy games than the entirety of the PS2 era. On the PS2 we got X, X-2, XI, XII, and Dirge of Cerberus.
The PS4 already has X, X-2, XIV, Type-0, and the XV demo. Dirge of Cerberus was pretty terrible and XI is largely surpassed by XIV (as both are MMOs), so the only thing we're really missing out on is XII which most people think will be the next announced HD Remaster. Technically speaking you can also play XIII and XIII-2 on the PS4 via Playstation Now if you were so inclined and incredibly wealthy. If they eventually add the ability to play PS1 Classics to the PS4 it would become a Final Fantasy powerhouse as that would also give people digital access to I, II, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, and Tactics.
Of course this is coming from someone who has all four Playstation systems still hooked up and ready to play at a moment's notice.
You should install Long War mod and start from the beginning.

I'm surprised you didn't take issue with the phrasing morningbus used. Especially since I know how much you love FF6. More, sure. Better? Laughably untrue. PS2 was the home of a lot of the worst FF games to ever be created. SNES had 3 and 2 of them rank toward the top of the all time greats list. The third one was arguably more fun than X, X-2, and XII.
