I'm just afraid of how this "Early Access in disguise" thing will roll out. Same shit that Splatoon does basically. Rolling out new content every week or so and they said Hitman will receive story stuff "well into 2016". Just gimme a game I can finish and don't make me wait months for the ending, it's getting a little absurd imo

Why is everybody hating on the game? It was my first Hitman but I enjoyed the predecessors just as well.

The best, most succinct criticism for Absolution I'd settle on is 'uneven.'

Thematically, mechanically, Absolution doesn't play to the series' strengths or its own. It was ugly in it's pursuit of grindhouse/exploitation themes, even while delivering really well executed performances. It's stealth aspect was compromised by it's cover shooter aspects rather than complemented by it. It's disguise mechanic was made frustrating by the instinct mechanic.

I still put a lot of hours into it and enjoyed it a lot, but felt like it was miss step in light of the potential of Blood Money. I think for a lot of other folks it was an example of 'consolization' of a good PC series.

Stil surprised they went with fable legends over a reboot sort of thing with fable. Why they would underhand one of their Only big IPs is beyond me. Hopefully they don't use the games performance as a basis for future fable stuff.
