Geez 2017 is one whack ass year for games. I see one day one at most.

You know what would be awesome? If Humble continued last week's Sekai Project bundle with a Humble Mangagamer Steam Bundle. Umineko + Higurashi + Fata Morgana + Kindred Spirits on the Roof + Gakhtun.

Just wait till Higurashi and Umineko are finished so we get a bundle with just those two

I don't blame you, that list is forgetting Zwei II, Cold Steel and Ys VIII after all

TBH I'd be all over Yakuza if it was on PC it's even just $30

Day one for Danganronpa, Wolfenstein, and maybe Cuphead.

Missing Destiny 2 and Ni No Ku Ni II.

But yeah, 2017 is the year that keeps on giving. It's gonna be memorable.

I think I'm going to hold out on impulse buying in this summer sale. I'll need the money later.

And Ys 8 and Tokyo Xanadu. Tho those weren't E3 announcements.

JaseC

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
Sam 4 being a no-show came as a surprise. Gamescom will mark roughly two years since the project was rebooted, so maybe then.

A remake of Age of Empires is a veritable dream come true, but I remain philosophically opposed and distrusting towards the longevity of Shit Mountain.

I totally expect either an encore Bundle again or just a break. Steam summer sale next week and with refunds rule (14 days) on theory I bet for the break.

I could've skipped this year in games and had nothing of value lost.

Wait. I liked Red Haze.
Ok everything besides that.

Some small games I've liked, but yeah, 2017's big hitters and movers are doing very little for me. Might go into gaming hibernation and start playing my backlog.

EDIT: I liked BOTW but it only grabbed me for about 10 hours. Pretty amazing 10 hours though.

what happened to you? You used to like games. And this year was insanely good so far as far as games go.

I've just become too cynical and jaded after years of waiting for a good SP dinosaur game.

For me this year has been pretty awesome for gaming. Not from the AAA industry but from indies and titles from Japan.

Japan failed me the most. They finally came back with nothing I wanted.

IDK muncher, if a year when good mainline RE comes out is no good for you, there are no good years to be had...

it's what 14 years without dino crisis does to a man

you know how many years I'm waiting for a new proper Suikoden?
And we just started to get Falcom games at all.
but I'm still fine!

Prey was good. Not amazing though.
Red Haze is the only experience this year that is feel bummed to lose out on.

This is the first year since where a mainline RE won't even be in my top 10.

not even in top 10? I thought you liked only one game this year, so RE would be second, no?

Bummer. I've become a real big fan of Falcom games recently so I guess that was good enough for me to make this a great year.

Guess if I never got into the Trails and Ys series I'd be a little cynical too since I was huge on FF not too long ago but then SE lost me with shit like FF15.

The best year for Falcom fans, indeed.
