hey guys ... just so you know - for all the 5 people who still play Evolvo - they added an fov slider in the latest patch ... and hold-to-aim ... and it only took them just over a month
Gotta make sure future DLC is working!
Im not afraid of HDD space, Im more afraid if the game requires the client to download/update files (wherever you buy it on Steam or from them directly) cause the clients download speed is slower than a turtle.

Happy B'Day. Actually after reading through the Yakuza 0 Import OT I was tempted to dig out 2 again. Though I've about 15 games on the go at present and my PCSX2 saves aren't on any PC's I've got to hand.

Three competent HMDs aren't "too many" by any definition of the word, especially when one will likely be chained to what is basically a low-end gaming rig.

Last time I saw my 11 year old cousin, he couldn't shut up about how much he loves CSGO, how he wish there was a Steam-sale on to cheer us up (Like three weeks ago at my grandmothers funeral) and how Steam is great and Origin and uPlay is annoying.

Really though, Star Citizen is a game a lot of people are buying VR HMDs, HOTAS setups and more for, so... Eh, 100 gigs isn't too shabby. I mean, it's reasonable. High-poly models and really damn high-res textures with quality sound and animation work and fucktons of content does take up some space. And considering the amount of content compared to some of the 40-50 gig games we get right now, it's... Not even a lot, in that context anyway.
That's... Cool, but it comes with a host of it's own problems, especially since in games you'll be picking stuff up all the time, gripping things - Without some sort of hardening exoskeletal force-feedback I can't see it being a better solution than something like Valve's implementation. :|
I'm legitimately considering it. Buuuut it'd have to be after I get one of the HOTAS' that're being made with SC in mind (and in collab with the team @ CIG)

Whoever complained about thi4f's end boss was spot on. What a miserable experience, completely contrary to the rest of the game.
To all developers: when you end a game completely abandoning core design principles (such as they are in thi4f), you should know something went wrong. Direly wrong.

If you haven't played Ass Bro, Ass Cree III is pretty good. Still a huge step up from the first one.

It's a travesty that nobody contacted Obsidian about making an Archer game.
I mean, they have the chops for it, both genre-wise (Alpha Protocol) and engine-wise (South Park).
I mean, the sheer thought of Chris Avellone working with Adam Reed...
I don't think they should repeat Alpha Protocol for an Archer game. I think the art and the comical timing would be more fitting of a side scrolling RPG like South Park.
I don't see Archer as a FPS either.
Wait, by the time SC ships (if it ever does) 1tb ssd drives might be free in happy meals.

Prepare for the buggiest AAA-game you've ever experienced, and a pretty badly designed game to boot. I'd be shocked if you could find a single thing to praise about it.
Though, to be honest, the thing that bothers me the most about thi4f is how they portray Garret. I haven't played any other Thief games, but in this one he seems like such a shoddy attempt at making an everyman protagonist that's infused with Geralt of Rivia's badass...ness; being thi4f it, predictably, was a failure.

In other news, Revelations 2 is bloody fantastic. Just finished Chapter 3 of Claire's campaign, and I'm loving it.
Ori and the Blind Forest came out today, and while I haven't played it, I've heard nothing but glowing reviews.

I didn't buy in on the hype with Never Alone, so I haven't played it yet. Ori is just a great package. It's not impossibly tough, but the difficulty feels right for this type of game. It looks great, feels great (the upgrades feel real tight), and sounds great. Since it's $20, I'd recommend waiting for a sale (33-50% off). For everyone else, buybuybuybuy.
