The port is competent enough. On my Nvidia 660 I ran it just fine at 1080p and 60fps.
Shame it's so bare bones though in terms of PC features. Hope the Modding Community comes through.

That is because some people do not adequately upgrade as the times go by, but upgrade when their highly anticipated game can't run for them. Some people only upgrade if WoW increases it's cost to run.

You haven't lived until you've experienced Medium 800x600@30fps w/dips.

The most I used to be able to manage was 1024x600.

That was pretty much my entire PC experience until I upgraded a year ago.

I once played through the entirety of Bioshock 1 at 640x480, it was an incredible experience

In addition to that, this just "links" to Steam's own built-in system that checks to see if you can run a particular game. Turns out, this only checks software requirements (not hardware requirements) so it's not as useful as I would have hoped.

Steam really needs this feature properly though, especially with all of these new Steam machines coming out.
