Give Sega a break, they put their emulator for Genesis/Megadrive games up on Steam, what more could you possibly want?
Resonance of Fate, Skies of Arcadia, and Vanquish. Also force Atlus to release all MegaTen games on PC.

not a CV fan (last game I've played was the snes one), I'd play it tho, I missed the CV train during the psx era.
The ingame art looks nice.
Inti Creates is developing. They are formed by ex-Capcom staff. So, basically, Capcom is doing the new Castlevania!

I finally decided to back The Bitmap Brother book for 50€. That's enough KS for me this year, I'll wait for everything else to appear on Steam.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
There really should be a separate tier for Steam keys on the Bloadstained Kickstarter as there is no cost to generate them.
$25 dollars is a much better price point.

What's really funny is that indie games are kind of full to the brim with Metroidvania's so it's not like this is a lost or forgotten genre. Still like Yooka-Laylee it's the team behind it that seems to be a deciding factor for some/most/me.

Not only do people read my posts, but they post about the thing I just logged on to post! Anyway, people should totally back this if they like the look of it. Now that I finally have a job, I'll hopefully be able to put some proper cash down on this.
The main theme that's on the Kickstarter is really excellent. It's painting the right kind of pictures, that's for sure.

Alpha Protocol for $3 is the biggest no brainer I can think of. I'm tempted to double dip just to have it in my steam library. It is so wonderfully flawed but good.

I actually don't like the art direction and saturation of the concept screenshots thaaat much if thats how the rest of the game will look like. It doesn't look that bad but then again when I was thinking about what Igas new game would look like vibrant, colorful and "clean" weren't among the keywords. I expected more muted colors and an overall gritty look and for the characters to look more like what character artworks for Castlevania looked like (wishful thinking I guess), because imo Miriam doesn't look nearly as interesting Shanoa did. Still, I'm really happy that this is a thing.

Taking this with a pinch of salt, but... I guess the dream might be over.
Mighty Number 9 was hilarious because that art-style in the concept piece should be possible, so it's so damn weird they went from hand-painted sprite-work looks to... 3D.

Might Number 9 had great looking concept art, but the final product doesn't look nearly as good.
Devil Inside looks like a great Kickstarter too, may need help to get funded as well.
