Probably because it wasn't a load of tightly choreographed bullshit like usual. E3 probably will be where the extra 'polish' comes into play where they lock 600 devs in a darkened room to slave over a demo that wont be used in the final game. What the fuck am I saying I've just bought this :(

Well ACU E3 SP demo wan't that much different from final product.

Win+Shift+← Move current window to the left monitor
Win+Shift+→ Move current window to the right monitor

that should work :)

Holy shit, I didn't know those shortcuts!
It's been years that I Win+P to PC screen only, do what I have to do with the culprit window and switch back to extended.
Also, sometimes I just don't feel like pushing the Win button, so I have to turn on the TV to get to the second screen.

But now!
My life got ten times better!

EDIT: of course if when I get back home later this doesn't work, I'll be super sad tonight.

Main complain that i have for AC:S reveal is they didn't show us something that revolutionary and new. There is hook line or whatever but we didn't saw any cool things to do with it, we saw sister but no gameplay and how she is different , London looks nice but i don't feel atmosphere like i did with first ACU gameplay, they talked about vehicles but never showed us cool things we can do with them. They don't need to reveal many things but in my opinion they should focus on cool things and more things that make AC:S different.

Assassin's Creed, revolutionary, and new. These are words I never thought I would see in the same sentence.

It has female enemies. Did the other games have that?

This just proves that you don't understand LYNE. It has nothing in common with Hexcells. LYNE is probably most relaxing game on steam if not ever, while Hexcells is anything but relaxing. LYNE is about gameplay, drawing lines, you think a little, rather just glance and have some notion what to do and then you draw lines, while in Hexcells you think a lot, then click mouse couple of times and then think even more. It's like comparing day and night.
Didn't mean to compare the two, more of a joke of what I "cherish". :p

I actually found a good portion of the Hexcells series relaxing to an extent especially with the randomly generated levels in Infinite. LYNE has been a bit more frustrating since I've only used a very similar approach for the first third of the game because it doesn't feel as if I learned or really done anything. Many levels I'll breeze through (still a bit early though), others are filled with thoughts of me wondering if I missed something important. I'm continually just going through the motions of completing a few stages at a time now, usually done while watching something else.

I'm calling it now: The Humble Weekly will be the super-duper local multiplayer bundle, featuring games like Lethal League, SpeedRunners. Sportsfriends and TowerFall. I added Sportsfriends because it seems like something Humble would ride for. Maybe Nidhogg as well.
Give me TowerFall and Nidhogg for a good price and I'll be happy :p

Oh the series has always been very close to how the final product looks, runs how ever is a different story. Plus there's always highly scripted camera angles for the setup, non engine cutscenes used and a little bit of swaz here and there as the final product is still aways behind. Compared to Far Cry3's reveal and definitely Watch_Dogs and The Divisions trickery (games at that stage of product do not look that slick) AssCreed has been very honest. Syndicates reveal though was the most 'honest' I'd say a game from Ubisoft has been shown off in a while. Whether that is to their detriment as it didn't look to have that bearing of a 1,400 man strong production behind it.

Assassin's Creed, revolutionary, and new. These are words I never thought I would see in the same sentence.

New AssCreed game where you play as a Revolutionary. Easy peasy. You didn't how the words were to be applied.

The shortcuts work fine in Win7, maybe they got changed in Win8, no clue :)

I'll be honest, I'll probably pre-order Assassin's Creed Syndicate shortly prior to launch. I'm a sucker for the setting, and I'm already an AC whore.

oh I like Hexcells well enough, Infinite was even in my GOTY list, but entirely for different reasons than LYNE. Also I find Hexcells very intense and even stressful, meaning not relaxing at all, it's a great game inspite of that, stress mostly comes from how easy is to misclick there, especially when tired already of thinking and rethinking, etc.
If LYNE is not your thing, you maybe wanna look into Strata, plays much more like Hexcells than LYNE, I mean you think a lot and then quickly do the thing.
Still, LYNE might grow on you, who knows. LYNE is not hard, so breezing through levels is normal, only at the end it gets tricky. As for missing something. Do you try to add just minimal of one colour without blocking paths of other colours, then second colour and then max of third colour and then "fill the gaps", this way of doing it helps when patterns get more coplex. It's not needed until very late in game, though.

Wait what? Visceral are working on an unannounced SW game? That is awful news. That means it probably won't be an rpg. Ughh Bioware needs to be the one making SW games. I know they are busy with ME but I hope they get to work on a SW game as well. They are the only ones under EA helm that can restore balance to the force and make an epic rpg. Visceral is probably just making some space shooter or action game :(

I'm surprised the protag of AC Syndicate isn't called Gordon Bennett.

This is probably the moment where the non UK residents of the Steam thread wonder what the fuck I'm on about.

What the heck are you on about?

I've been wondering the same thing since he thought the Bloody Norah thing was funny during the reveal.

Every single one of those are slang and are an expression of surprise. There are plenty more but I fear I'll get lynched if I carry on.
