Damn... I actually haven't. 15-20 years ago, I would've known about it, no doubt (big into JRPGs and the weirder end of Japanese games), but uni got in the way. Damn uni, with its socialising and learning stuff. Now it's just just gaming on PC, with whatever scraps the Japanese companies deign to give us on Steam.

I don't know man. I mean there is bad movies to bring up in comparisons. Then there is really really bad movies to bring up. And then there is fucking Battlefield Earth. Even if its just early leaked reviews the impressions are not good.

Summer movie season will probably be shit across the board. I'm probably just gonna watch Xmen next week and that is about it. And even that has shit reviews uhh.

I have an older version that came bundled with my blu ray drive and it was awful and rarely worked. Based on that experience don't think I'd risk buying a newer version. The UK was trash too. It seemed unnecessarily clunky and slow.

Well, my only experience is with the 2015 version, which has been working great for me. That said, I only recommend it if one has absolutely wants to play native blu-rays. Otherwise, just rip the blu-ray with makemkv and see it with MPHC, which provides a close enough experience that should suffice for most people.

Yeah it's funny, everyone is always like "why does clickbait exist, it can't work" and then you go into that thread and you see how people are instantly taken in by something ridiculously hyperbolic.

It does fascinate me that even after Harry Potter, LotR, and Games of Thrones, the fantasy genre still gets no respect at all. Even the "good" reviews for Warcraft have been like "how can this take itself so seriously."

I liked Gods of Egypt and I liked what I saw in the Warcraft trailer.

Sometimes you just need to turn off your brain and enjoy stupid CG action.

If I need to "turn off my brain" than that is the very definition of a bad movie imho.

You can make a good action/fantasy movie without making it insulting to the viewers intelligence.

The raid or fury road are great movies that don't require you to completely stop thinking and the best recent action movies.

All I've heard about this movie till now is that it sucks major donkey balls - no surprise from the looks of the trailer.

It's a shame tbh, I was looking forward to seeing the Warcraft universe on screen. Now my hopes of a future Lich King movie are lowered

you shouldn't get the origins version

the skins are nice, specially tracer's, but it's not worth it if you don't play other blizz games

Now Battlefield Earth will haunt Warcraft forever. There is just no coming back from that. Its over.

With a bit more research the May 20 beta update broke something. I rolled back to the normal client and they uploaded fine.

Wash_Dogs seems to have a 100% completion-breaking bug in that if you start a new game, you cannot "check into" hotspots that you visited in your previous save -- the locations are instantly greyed out on the map and checking into them again doesn't update the progress counter. The underlying cause seems to be that this information is tied to your actual Uplay account (I assume thanks to the exceedingly pointless "mayor" system) rather than just the save file.
