What I meant was that JC2 and Mad Max were done by Avalanche Sweden, while JC3 was done by Avalanche New York.
I read somewhere that there was some serious downsizing going on in the Sweden branch. Might have confused this with Disney's Avalanche, true.
Mostly its because I don't know if I want to bother because I'm so unfamiliar with a lot of the new content.

i know the overwatch talk is frowned upon but a person called zykion joined my game and it really freaked me out cos they followed me around and like it kept messing with my head

What if the other one is offline?
My wife is all over ARK these days. So if I can play the smaller games offline that can run on my laptop like Trails, YS, etc, that would be great.

Are you in the Beta? The last update for the Beta client a couple of days ago added "Initial support for viewing stereo screenshots in VR", which quite possibly broke Screenshot Uploads for a few people.

It works fine for me at 60 FPS running on an SSD with just a Radeon 7950. The only annoyance I notice are slightly long load times during mission loading screens and cutscenes.
edit: LOL just as I posted this the game crashes, but this is the very first time it's done it in hours

I can't say for other people, I like those games but I never ever play them one after another.
And "all the same" basically is true for anything, I mean any group of games in the same subgenre. I like that they are puzzley and not heavy on hidden object parts.

I do, sure they all feel samey but the quality varies greatly and Grim Legends is imo one of their best series, it's less hidden-object-y and closer to normal adventures.

I really regret my career choice.
I've always enjoyed translating stuff and have a natural inclination towards languages, why didn't I go with that?
Working on videogames would've been cool too of course but that was always going to be difficult.
Speaking of games, I'm probably going to wait more than I thought before I pick up Dark Souls 3, I still haven't finished Bloodborne and I'm really starting to feel burned out on the formula. The game is amazing, I like the core gameplay even more than Souls, but the limited options in character builds/customization and even in environments when compared to Souls kinda make the repetitive nature of killing enemy after enemy come to the surface more. But yeah, now that I'm done with UC4 I'm gonna concentrate on finishing this and then probably wait a year before picking up DS3, maybe a sale on the complete edition they'll probably release when all dlc is out.
Would be awesome to have BB on PC, the game has some serious framerate issues, I wonder if they'll patch it for the Neo, probably wont bother.

What we really want is a Sigma Star Saga 2! First one was half Zelda-clone with decent story, half horizontal shmup with weapon customization

Yup. My 970 from them failed (more specifically the fans) and it took them 4 weeks ugh.
I'll definitely give EVGA or Asus my money this time around, currently rooting for a EVGA FTW but I'll have to wait on reports for cooling performance. Also passive cooling during idle is a must.
Dang! I'm still waiting on a >50% discount, mostly because I play single player games. I think the highest discount has been 40%?

He lives in Malaysia. On a small sale it still cheaper then the monthly.
I do have an extra ROW copy for sell though. Another copy though that is restricted to Hong Kong and Taiwan.
