The demo of Tesla Effect was actually pretty decent(2k video is great), but I couldn't get into Under a Killing Moon due to a lot of archaic jank. This'll be the only Tex Murphy game that I might see through.

Steam windows seemingly randomly fuck up. Everything will be off by quite a bit. Right now in the picture upload window, if I want to click on a picture, I have to put the cursor below it and far to the right. This has been going on for a while now and only with steam. Anyone know how to fix this irritating thing?

It's nice to see VC is such a great port. I haven't encounter any bug or glitch so far. There was a bug earlier where characters voice were too quiet in cutscenes but it was quickly patched within 2-3 hours of being released.

Anyway, this is the deal with FF XIII-2. You cannot buy it from Russia. It is locked.
This is the Russian Sub of the game: https://steamdb.info/sub/53977/
As you can see on the page there are two big blue boxes telling you that neither US nor EU can activate or run the game (also these two tags: PurchaseRestrictedCountries & onlyallowrunincountries further down).
Similar to the Asian sub of the game here: https://steamdb.info/sub/41113/

Now, the US/EU sub https://steamdb.info/sub/44038/ has the least restrictions (par cross-region gifting). Here you can easily see which regional store has the cheapest price.
It is the Turkish Steamstore for $12.37. Or 31% cheaper than the regular US/EU store.

thanks for the explanation! guess other region stores aren't really a viable option to get FF13-2... guess it's GMG then?

Valkyria Chronicles isn't locked right? - based on what I understand from the Steamdb

and as mentioned many times before, Witcher 3 remains the only game that works despite the ACRTAG (though the latest sub disables gifting but allows trading?!)

Yup, valkyria is good to go from russia. Only $10.77 !

Why is reinstalling windows for me such a pain.
I hate how this dell laptop is just making it such a pain.
Even made the rescue disk, which ain't doing shit since it won't boot and I can't figure out any way to acess it.

yeah i mean i don't really think it's necessary for games to have like a million settings, if you're barebones but you have the essentials (like resolution) i'm ok with it

if the performance is bad tho, that's more problematic

also thanks for the key but shadownet got me covered
