Chances of Xanadu Next being in the humble monthly?

I don't want to grab it tonight and have a SURPRISE! with tomorrow's reveal.

Seems unlikely. Most of the brand new games that get offered tend to be of the cheaper variety.

If there's a new release likely I'd point to Dungeon Rats. Releasing the same day as the bundle, supposed to be a cheap price, is a sort of expiremental side game for the developer.

From what I've read the game introduced basically nothing new, and so far it's a database update only. That's not a good incentive to leave your '16 save file behind.

Looks like people bought it instantly (thinking it would be like the previous ones in term of improvements) and got mad when they saw the actual status of the game.

For better or worse FMs are never just database updates. RPS was quite positive in their review. https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2016/11/03/football-manager-2017-review/

I don't think what you're saying is happening at all?

It occurs to me that for some odd reason there are not stock anime gifs for Humble disappointment.

We have stock anime gifs for almost every situation otherwise. I could get hit by a bus and there would be an appropriate gif but we got nothing for Humble shenanigans.

This actually isn't baiting for gifs but it just struck me as really odd. Like a collective blindspot.

Anyone (especially those parts of any game or DLC collector steam groups) have a list of free games that contain paid DLC to support the developers?

Examples:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/395520/
http://store.steampowered.com/app/533690/
http://store.steampowered.com/app/436110/
http://store.steampowered.com/app/468530/
http://store.steampowered.com/app/377330/

In some cases it's selling the OST, in some cases it's concept art or cut content, in some cases it's literally nothing.

I'm thinking about emailing some developers who DON'T have this option to ask them to add it.

I'd hate to work for Sports Interactive and be tasked with creating new features for Football Manager. I genuinely don't know what they could add to the experience that would really stand out. Social media updates or designing your own manager, that's all just fluff really.

I've only played for a short amount of time, but what I've seen has me agreeing with RPS, with a range of under the hood tweaks and changes that just improve already existing features. Which is fine by me.

Should bring it down to $2.45. So it would work out to saving you $0.05 buying from both places.

Keep in mind, in the event that you care, your potential future Steam review of Titan Souls wouldn't be counted in the aggregate data.

Thanks. 5 cents isn't enough. Just bought it from steam. :)

Watching GI play Shenmue II is a form of torture. Not a knock against GI, but the game itself seems so damned boring. I'm five episodes in and I struggle to pay attention.

Giant Bomb's Shenmue I Endurance Run isn't much different. It's like an adventure game in deep denial about itself.

Only one I've come across is Thea: The Awakening with its coffee for coding DLC. It's concept art.

I didn't realise anyone else was doing that sort of thing.

So Shadowverse is pretty seriously legit. Fair with packs, reasonably good single player, free arena mode between friends, and very varying playstyles.

Just went 2-3 in Take Two mode with one of the free tickets. Got my ass handed to me by 3 Japanese Shadowcraft players :-/

Now that Nioh might be dead, I have Dragon Quest Builders and Persona 5 to hope for.

I'd be surprised if we don't get Dragon Quest Builders by the end of the year. I've given up hope for Persona 5, though. I've accepted that Atlus Japan are just that fucking stupid.

Yeah I don't envy them at all! Anything potentially revolutionary ends up being slightly buggy and wonky as a result of having to deal with all the other aspects of the simulation, before they iron the kinks out in the next year's version.

The games aren't HUGELY different from year to year but I don't think the accusation of "roster update" flies with SI. They're pretty transparent and open with what they try to do to make their game better.

Persona games will make it to the Switch before they ever make it to PC. If they haven't done it by now they just must not care about Steam.

Atlus have made it pretty clear that the idea of making a PC port doesn't even make it to the table.

They won't be porting over anything.

It kind of looks like fun. I like space shooters.

I figure this one will probably have a shit load of used copies on PS4 though so I'll pick it up for $5 next year.

Last COD I played was Advanced Warfare, and it was lots of fun, even with the story being bonkers. Sledgehammer is not behind the new one though so I'm not risking buying it yet, but if the word of mouth is positive I might check it out.

Looks like XSEED added five new entries into their database.

If I had a guess... Akiba's Beat, Senran Kagura Bon Appetit (already announced), and Senran Kagura Estival Versus are easy ones. The other two are up in the air.

Way farther down are two unnamed apps that haven't been updated in almost a year. No idea what those are either. I wish we had another SteamDB leak. ;_;

wow.... you now have my imagination running wild with this....

btw, i always thought xseed got renamed to marvelous USA?
