Humble Monthly keys for Gunmetal Arcadia Zero are now up.
Humble Monthly keys for Gunmetal Arcadia Zero are now up.
A Humble Original game that is available in Steam? Is that the first Original game?
No, it's not the first. Stikbold and Switchcars both come to mind.
You can't really cap DH2 to 30 yet, it introduces absurdly long loading times. Wait for the patch.
You don't want to do that just yet. It results in significantly longer load times.
Load speed is some how tied to the frame rate, god only knows how.wait what
I was going to gamepump the shit out of my steam library, but they don't take paypal.
I don't want to give them my CC info.
It's my birthday and sadly, it is on the middle of the week. I hate middle of the week birthdays.
But they do take Paypal?

ModBot said:Instructions for participants:
I am giving away a Steam key. To enter this giveaway, send a PM to ModBot with any subject line. In the body, copy and paste the entire line from the message below containing the game you want to enter for. Confused? Watch this GIF tutorial or ask for help.
Want to make your own ModBot giveaway? Click here for a quick tutorial thread. Please give generously.
ModBot Basics:
- I really appreciate thank you messages, but please send them to me (NeoRaider, not ModBot!) via PM instead of in thread.
- Do not trade keys you win off-site to enrich yourself. Don't try to claim games you have no interest in collecting or playing. Don't claim games to give them to friends off-site.
- If the key is already taken you will not receive a reply. Replies may take a minute or two.
Rules for this Giveaway:
- If you are a lurker you are not eligible for this giveaway. You need five or more posts in either the current Steam thread or the previous one to be eligible
- This giveaway is a LIGHTNING raffle. The winners will be selected by random draw 15 minutes after the draw was created. Any games not claimed after that point will be given away first come first serve.
DiRT 3 Complete Edition --MB-3535E9901BCDAD1E- Taken by EdmondD. 1 entrants total.
We're currently working with Wayforward, a 25 year veteran studio responsible for the DuckTales Remastered game with Capcom, as one of our first external development deals.
I have found this piece of info about Game Pump:
The main reason I was convinced to give my money to Game Pump is that LinkedIn link given by Nabs about an Humble Monthly initiator who has been working for them. Otherwise, I would have been super wary about their business.
Wait. It was in a monthly bundle that I paid for a demo, right? I guess I never learn.
A demo and at least 5 other titles that you got for around $12.
So that'd be 12÷5= $2.40 per game.
Assuming instead that 2 of the games in the bundle only interested you, you'd have gotten each game for $6.
This looks great, when the reviews are good i buy this for sure.

So, you subscribe for a discount, not the actual games?
Hmm.
Every month, we will email you a Steam key for the latest release. All games are redeemable via Valve's Steam marketplace.
HOW GAMEPUMP WORKS
We partner with video game veterans of today and yesteryear to reclaim lost gaming artifacts.
Which is a really fancy way of saying, we revive classic game libraries from the proverbial basements of some of the top video game publishers in the world and help bring them to modern hardware.
IN RETURN, WE'RE GRANTED A ONE-TIME MASSIVE DISCOUNT FOR OUR ACTIVE SUBSCRIBERS.
I'll buy gamepump just so I can complain with all of you guys all throughout 2017

We don't want to "force" users to subscribe in order to receive these games, they belong on Steam. We do want to encourage subscription by offering a massive discount, because subscriptions help us fund the acquisition of these licenses and cover the future development costs associated with bringing them back.

I'd be down for Shantae 1 or Mighty Switch Force 2.
EDIT: I'm not trying to keep beating a dead horse or trump the pump here, but this interview seems to suggest the subscription may actually only be for receiving a huge discount on a game, not the game itself:
