Man The Last of Us is good, really good. I am only at 41% based on save data but story is ok. But gameplay and pacing is sooo goooood add to that atmosphere and good character interaction. If you ever get PS4 play this game (or if somebody some day makes PS4 emulator).

Why it's in the state it is?

I imagine it has to do with Kojima tapping out his resources (time/money) and Konami getting sick of waiting and wanted to push the game out as is.

Chapter 2 is basically a disaster compared to Chapter 1.

I just ignored those until the very end. They weren't required for progression. It's just dumb that they put them in the list as numbered missions and called it "Chapter 2"

EDIT: And I think the Subsistence missions were actually pretty damn cool and I would have liked more of those. I guess you can just make them on your own if you want though.

I went back to check just in case, went through the order process got to paypal and it still didn't mention US or AUS dollar and then where it said there was one further confirmation before I pre-ordered. Guess what? I now own Star Wars Battlefront at US$59.99 from GMG because there wasn't any further conformation. I own it until they refund me or if they don't I chargeback on paypal.

Yeah I can agree with that. I'm not too deep into the MGS saga even though I enjoy all the games, so I only expected some crazy bullshit and some good stealth, and I got a lot of both, so i'm pretty happy.

It could be better, but the game is still quite amazing.
