Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Well GAF, I survived 24 hours of straight gaming and it was glorious. I had a lot of fun doing some short (1 - 2 hour) forays into almost 20 games in my backlog. Some of them I'll definitely be replaying and finishing, others... probably not.

The PC port has its flaws - it runs on GFWL for starters - and The Club has its rough edges mechanically, but the actual concept behind it made for one of my personal favorite games for the previous generation of consoles. I never did like the Mercenaries sidemode in the Resident Evil games for a number of reasons, but The Club improves the formula in a number of ways despite the shooting not being as visually satisfying; matters like spawn locations or number of enemies (which is increased on higher difficulties) not being random like in Mercenaries, it having some racing game design principles with how speed is of importance for higher scores, no score-related exploits to be found et cetera.
Makes me sad that Bizarre Creations closed down and that this wasn't conceived as a smaller game that could be sold at a cheaper price on various digital distribution services for an arcade-like timewaster; think RedLynx' Trials series. It was something special, and I would've liked to see no-brainer features (like in-game replays) implemented in a hypothetical sequel if Bizarre was given a second chance.
I remain skeptical after season 1 and 2.

Don't put any points into resistance when you level up. It's a useless stat.
Also you'll want to stay under 50% of your equip load. Ant higher and you'll roll like a sack of potatoes.

How do you check whether a game is region locked now that it doesn't show up on the steam page? It used to say "This game is only purchasable in ************" but it no longer does even for locked games.
Use enhanced steam?
20 minutes per card is the default value but some games (notoriously Blade Symphony) take much longer (an hour or more per card).

Gaf, help me understand Dustforce. I love indie platformers as much as the next guy, but I can't get my head around this. The controls are SO clunky, and not in a Dark Souls "Oh, I get this now" way. I can't even get out of the (new?) tutorial area because I'm doing a wall and ceiling run, stopping half way, and not able to jump. And any movement means taking a massive step left or right. I even had to load up Spelunky, to make sure my PS3 pad drivers weren't adding input lag to it.
