EDIT: Steam in 2021 (last Valve reported number) had 132m monthly active users with a 2021 concurrent peak at 27m. PS5 has maybe 45m monthly active users (being generous there) which would put the PS5 concurrent users peak at ~9.83m.
Using the same method Steam in 2024 has ~191m monthly active users. That's 59m extra PC gamers in 3 years.

Steam had 20 million concurrent users record back in 2020. The figure has more or less doubled here. I wouldn't be shock if Steam MAU has surpassed 200m nowI doubt ps5 can even pull 10m.
