I spent almost 80 hours with MGSV and only have a 55% completion rate. It's easily my most played game in, shit i don't remember a game i spent more time with since i was in my teens. Even the last few final fantasies have only been around 40 hours long. I spent about 55 hours with Fallout 3 GOTY on the PS3 before the constant hard locks, framerate hitching, and just overall shittiness was so bad that i didn't even finish the last DLC I had left for it.

I agree with the general sentiment that Chapter 2 is kind of a mess but the game was so damn good 95% of the time that I can't give it too much shit for being a disorganized experience for that last bit. What a game.

The gameplay is just so damn smooth and polished. If you think some obscure gameplay mechanic or strategy will work, it likely will.

MGO is going to be insane. Konami, please utilize VAC.

No kidding.

Oh, he meant the Nvidia thing. Right. With that said, I do recall a moba or RTS for Oculus that's going to get a VR mode and we know Valve is working on VR spectating for Dota.

New Nvidia driver, optimized for Killing Floor 2.

Nowhere, they again talked about a low latency mode for MOBAs (which just changes some setting you could always change yourself). VR doesn't have anything to do with that.
Oh... It sounded like they were implying that there was a moba with vr support. My bad

Tabletop warfare comes to life in “AirMech VR”! Action and strategy combined where you choose how to play. Directly control a powerful mech on a miniature battlefield where waves of enemies relentlessly attack. Transform to air mode and place your forces for optimal defense. Many AirMech types are available each with their own abilities and style, plus tons of units with a huge variety of roles! The first real-time strategy game with action that plays best with a gamepad and no compromises. This VR version of AirMech is an all-new game created to show off the immersive yet comfortable experience the Oculus Rift can bring to this genre.

Just chilling at 73% for this update download of 130.4 mb. Dunno if I'm to blame it MS

Always blame MS, always.
IDK, it seems to be regional server thing because people insist I'm wrong when I say this but here win updates never were fast (servers go down regularly too, btw) and with win8 they seemingly became even slower and I thought that's not possible.
Then again I compare it with PS3 updates and patches, after that win ones look fast. *shrugs*

steam ones in comparison are lightning fast

Another day, another PayDay 2 update. New enemy or something. http://www.overkillsoftware.com/games/fbifiles/

I really hope there is also a heist behind this. Not necessarily this week but down the line. There is a lot of setup in that trailer but the Jiro character pack trailer was highly produced as well, going over his desire to see his son but ended up being nothing but marketing and he's just robbing malls and casinos like any other schmuck.

Well it's user created but curated by Valve, so not as open as some other events that were community made. The reasoning for not doing a dedicated event this year is the same as what happened previously with Dota2, where they are apparently working on a significant update for the game that they are prioritising over doing an event. No Source 2 for TF2 though
Thank you. Maybe they're working on TF3. Or that other 3 game. Left 4 Dead.

No kidding.

What about the obscure mechanics of fultoning a soldier sleeping naturally, or waking the soldier up by throwing a magazine on him, or even just trying to grab a sleeping soldier? :p

So I download the Witcher a month or so ago, went to play it for the first time and 30gb update. FML. I am in Canada I cannot afford that

Hmm, looking at my GOG version the v1.06 update is now standalone for some reason and 22GB which is super bizarre as the initial required v1.01 first day patch is only 300MB and the v1.02-1.08 all-in-one update is 2GB.

Not sure what's going on there.

What license is that exactly? Office isn't part of Dreamspark anymore. Other than that:

Or did you buy Office 365 University? Then it is available.
I have no idea, to be honest. My university doesn't even advertise the fact that it was available, which is something they do for DreamSpark. I was just messing around so I googled "Office 365 education", entered the first link, wrote my university email address and it gave me access to the service for free, including the desktop versions of the different apps.

These are the items that appear under the "Assigned licenses" in the "Account info" section of my profile:
- Yammer for Academic
- Office Online for Education
- SharePoint Plan 1 for EDU
- The latest desktop version of Office

So, according to that, I do have access to the new version for free? That's nice!

Meh, Bundlefest #3 has been all sorts of disappointing so far.
I mean, last time they had at least one good Killer Bundle. Now... Nothing. :\
