PSAs getting swapped in titles is the best thing gaf has done since removing animated avatars

I just had more fun replaying the Old Blood Chapter 1 on Easy than I did on normal. Think i'm just gonna keep it at that difficulty.

New order's uneven pacing and sudden difficulty curves turned me off a bit on an otherwise great experience. It's the reason I haven't rushed to play TOB though.

Chapter 1 alone has a difficulty curve on normal. You get stuck on a On-Rails boat mission. If you aren't maxed on health & Armor you get ripped to shreds. So yeah seems they didn't quite learn their lesson yet.

The stoey is butchered. They took all nazi elements out. So you're fighting a random nameless empire with horrible german dub with of course no option of the english one. We only can play the game on german. Which is insulting. I always play my games in english and I like my freedom of choice.

I'm reading the community hub of Soma...and it's all about bugs, with people claiming it's not a survival horror but a walk simulator, the fact it's blody short etc.

So, I didn't read any review, but is this stuff true?
Penumbra and Amnesia games had a great gameplay, really Frictional gone through walking sim route?

Very sad. From the few videos I saw, Soma looked like Alien Isolation, but I thought it would be a better game than AI because Frictional actually is very competent regarding survival horror games.
But a walking simulator, also priced 28€...dunno. I'll take it for sure when heavily discounted, but I honestly thought Soma was something else.

I may be sounded harsh, but laptop gaming is not PC gaming. Mobile gpu just don't cut it to play newest games at the best performance. My brother in law have an MSI gaming laptop with GTX670M (bought in 2013) as well and it can barely run newer games on medium (even low) settings at reasonable framerates.

My 980M kicks the shit out of most games that aren't Arkham Knight or hairworks, so gotta disagree.
