It's a sad state of affairs when I'm excited for the SNES Classic so I can play Final Fantasy VI properly rather than in a botched mobile port on Steam.

Look on the bright side: You can extract the FF6 ver. of the game and mod it/use fan hacks for an expanded experience on your PC ;D

Only reason I hadn't gotten Steamworld Dig 2 yet is that I hadn't started the previous games yet.
I'll get around to playing them later this year, but if there was a discount offer, or a 'complete your bundle' kind of thing for the series I'd've gotten it/

Interesting, Sonic Adventure 1 on Steam is a port of a port too.
It's more than a port of a port.
Dreamcast version had an enhanced port for Gamecube, which was ported to PC, then either the Gamecube or PC version was ported to XBox 360, which was then ported to PC.

I haven't played Heist yet, but Dig is short. Like, "finish it in one long-ish sitting" short, so it's not too much of a time commitment.

The Steam equivalent of the drunk friend who keeps offering to pay your tab all night.
Ive tried to play OS1 like 3 times and it never clicks with me. I never go past the first town you get to, with the murder investigation and boats on fire or whatever it is :/

That is like me with POE, I think it is because I have no idea what I am doing in the combat. OS1 clicked right away though :(

Is there a way of checking what version of a game you have installed on Steam? I can't remember if I downloaded an older version of Dishonored 2 or the latest version, and the binary properties only show the internal version number (1.77.7.0).

You won't find the Steam build ID mentioned anywhere if you downloaded the game data via the console, but you can just download the latest executable and compare. 1.77.7.0 seems to be the latest.

Forgot how easy it was to get Card money. Up to $8 from yesterday from listing idling and listing some cards, still have about 1500 more to idle as per idlemaster. The only hard part is manually clicking the idlemaster button. (I tried an autoclicker once but it didnt work)

I wish you could get cards without idling. I have like 400 cards left to idle, but I don't want to mess up my playtime/recommendations again..

I'm like an hour into both PoE and D:OS and I like both, but I think Divinity clicked more. The drag&drop of items gives me Divine Divinity flashbacks. I don't think you could do that in Ego Draconis, right?
Loved how you could just take some hay from anywhere and combine them into a bed, which you could then just drop anywhere and sleep :)
Does D:OS have something like that too?
But free money! (it is really annoying the playtime aspect but it will just be everything at 2 Hours = 0 Hours)
Yeah, but... :/

Steam really needs to add reset playtime option. As displayed on client or profile, refunds should of course use real playtime.

They also need to add a "select all" when "confirming" marketplace items on your phone. I have to manually hit a few 100 check marks and the page only displays like 5 at at time!

Thanks for checking. I've written up a list now to keep track.

I also don't idle games because of the play time. I have a lot of cards to drop.
Same here, i tried to idle cards when during first year after i joined Steam, but i really disliked that it messed up my playtime. Now i have 14188 cards to drop, and i really don't want to care about this shit, with all new limitations it would take forever to idle them anyway. I was joining Steam to play games, not turning my computer into a fucking card farm.

Have idled plenty for long now. Nothing ever happened.

Just in case I wouldn't play a multiplayer game with idlemaster on the background. But I really don't know about any technical details. Just playing it safe.

Man, I feel like I am the only one not excited about the next Rockstar game.
Because I do not enjoy any of their games

I havent truely played a Rockstar game since Space Station Silicon Valley. I dabbled in Vice City and San Andreas just free roaming but never cared for the story. I have always wanted to play RDR though, sadly I am PC only and I have too many other games to play before I worry about emulation.

Rockstar's games have incredible production values and are massive undertakings. But there isn't much depth to their gameplay. GTA missions are a succession of instructions that appear down the screen and you follow like "drive here", "now get out", "walk there", "do this and something really cool will happen". Rinse and repeat. In all honesty, I've had way more fun in GTA Online racing with randos than doing anything else.

I love MP3 though.

Oh hey, a guy in my classes plays games on PC.
He immediately starts conversations so he can whinge about stuff, like how Sonic Mania has DRM even if he doesn't care about it affecting him, or how Cuphead shouldn't be advertising itself as being hard if it isn't on the level of NES Ninja Gaiden or something like that.

Meh, I won't be seeing anyone in this class ever again.
