Am i seeing this clear and there will be no notable AAA releases on PC in September except that japanese stuff you guys love to hype here? I guess I'm going to start saving for GTX 1080ti then and potentially throw money to Cuphead when devs finally allow me to do that.

Well there's the Dishonored expansion. Think that's bout it from AAA

Eh, I wouldn't say there is AAA blockbusters by the millions, but it looks like a solid month to me. Not THE month, okay, but not bad.
If you want to tax your PC and you are an anti-Jp heathen, I can see Project Cars 2, Total War Warhammer 2 and maybe Raiders of the Broken Planet doing the job.

Anyone know where tampermonkey scripts are stored? Just setup a new comp and chrome has none of my scripts.

I have just finished Snake Pass (100% completion), and I really like how the game is original (gameplay-wise) and challenging. You can really feel how you improve over time.

Edit: Oh, and by the way:
Aaa games are a hoax.

steam link is on sale at amazon. How do I connect that with ethernet?

Do I connect the steam to my TV, then plug the AC adapter and get a ethernet cable to my network. that is it??? do I need any extra cables for my deskptop, or as long my desktop is connected via ethernet to my regular internet am I good to go?

Also, can you use any controller like ps4 and xbox one?

I thought I came off pretty neutral.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean I watched a little of Tyranny and that thing looks dope.

Oh I thought you meant that the word of mouth was to play neither.XD Alright, hype restored haha.

Are you starting now? If so I'd go with Torment. Tyranny is getting a DLC release next week along with a patch that adds in some free new content so you should probably start it after that.

Ah yeah will start with Torment and wait for the extra for Tyranny. Free content is always nice!:D

I keep meaning to get to them, I promise! Got to finish the 2nd part of The White Marches first and XCOM2 and Uncharted and probably D:OS2 in a couple of weeks and SWTOR and...

I have D:OS2 but have to wait till they and if they port it for Mac. Man what a time to be alive with all these good CRPGS.

There's a livestream today revealing some stuff, isn't there?

Undead reveal, I believe. Including their Origin--named Fane. It is the Origin written by Chris Avellone.

Get hyped.

And man, I'll have a lot of trouble deciding between Fane (yeah, sight unseen!), Lohse, and Red Prince. Though all of them seem fascinating.

If your computer is already connected to the network then there is nothing more you need to do with your computer.
You connect Steam Link with a network cable like a normal computer or via Wifi

awesome. So as long as the wired connection is good, the steam link works well?

Only because Divinity: Original Sin 2 is AAAA.
I'm sorry, but after Wasteland 2 and Pillars of Eternity I'm very skeptical about any Early Access titles from small, but talented studios. I'm not saying that those games were bad, i mean that release date for EA titles usually means "first full release, wait for 30+ more patches and definitive edition for lower price 1-2 year later".

Well, sort of, it's DLC and i finished Dishonored 2 twice in a row not long ago so i don't feel like i currently need more Dishonored in my life. Maybe i'll get it sometimes in 2018, sorry Arkane.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have any anti-JP heathen, they're just providing very different type of gameplay that i don't want to experience right now. Also, fact that those game are part of series doesn't help either, for example i interested in Ys VIII, but i never played any Ys games before and I'm not sure if it's worth it to blindly play last chapter without knowing story of previous entries.
About other games you mentioned, I'm not into sports and realistic racing sims much, Total War Warhammer 2 looks interesting but again it looks like massive standalone DLC for original for full price and I'm still very skeptic about DLC model for this series overall, i don't like playing incomplete games. Not sure about Raiders of the Broken Planet, isn't this some coop multiplayer shooter?
Aaa games are a hoax.
AAA games with strong singleplayer focus and without forced microtransactions are the best. That's why I'm going to buy Wolf2 and that game from Gothic devs, and completely ignore existence of Middle-earth: Shadow of War until it hits some bundle or be on sale as complete edition for 2$.

But D:OS 2 is not your regular EA games that come out of nothing.

It's a game that precedes the great RPG that has released earlier which is D:OS.

They've proven what they could pull off from kickstarter. And the sequel has improvements from it all across the board.

Lots of games offer strong single player experience or focus, has been the case for decAdes

I'm pretty sure Total Warhammer 2 releases in september.

Also, Divnity 2.

Piranha Bytes is a AAA developer for you? What year is it? 2002? Most of AAA is a desert compared to what we are getting from indies and actual AA these days.

Pillars of Eternity is great RPG too but it was ruined for me because of some bugs and balance errors that were patched few months after release, when i was finishing my playthrough and it was too late. That's why I'm not playing this kind of games at day one anymore.

Erm it's not like that's something that only happens with Early Access games. That sentence literally applies to most AAA games out there lol

That doesn't really matter all that much for the Ys games.
All you need to know is that the main character, Adol the Red, is an adventurer that either gets stranded or lands on an island with a ship at the beginning of a new game and then has an adventure on that island.
The stories are usually self-contained (with the exception of Ys I and II, and Origin as a prequel to those to a lesser extent) and only have some small throwbacks and some recurring characters (where it's enough if you know 'this is a friend of Adol he met on some adventure'):

Pillars of Eternity is great RPG too but it was ruined for me because of some bugs and balance errors that were patched few months after release, when i was finishing my playthrough and it was too late. That's why I'm not playing this kind of games at day one anymore.

'Not playing this kind of games at day one' because of what a team of developer have done to their games is kinda unfair to the other developers who are making the similar games.

It's like saying 'I wouldn't play Dark Souls games because I've tried Lords of the Fallen and I heard they're of the same genre'.

Piranha Bytes is a AAA developer for you? What year is it? 2002? Most of AAA is a desert compared to what we are getting from indies and actual AA these days.
Yeah, I'm still considering them as AAA, i know that's not quite true but I just used to it. I'm preferring to consider what to play next like it's still early 00's, i know it's silly but i can't change it, 99% of indies for me are always "maybe sometimes later when i'll have free time" and big blockbusters are at priority. And i have a very old school and weird for people from west regions vision of what "big blockbuster" means, for example in my region Gothic series were blockbusters and even legally sold on par with TES games.
""first full release, wait for 30+ more patches and definitive edition for lower price 1-2 year later". "

Not for all, as we can see on Nier Automata example, Square didn't released even 1 patch! If you wouldn't count that DLC of course.

Not to mention the original Divinity Original Sin itself or the Shadowrun games.

Well, good to know, but I'm still conflicted. I still have time to think about purchasing it, i want to see impressions about PC port first.

Again, I'm not saying that Divinity 2 or any other EA games are bad and i'm not going to play them at all. I definitely will play them eventually, but not at release, that's it.

Ok, Destiny 2 tried. Not interested in PVP and didn't feel like doing a strike so it was a short session. It certainly is Destiny, and I'm totally cool with that. Skeptical on the m+kb play but maybe that's a case of playing so much of the first recently with a pad. I can deal with the multiple hotkeys for the different powers but on the jump front I felt particularly not on point.

As numerous posters said the game felt exactly like the first with a pad I won't try it.

Man I wish some of October releases moved to September.

Assassins Creed, Destiny and Elex all day for me and Assassins Creed and Destiny will be essentially $80CAD because (1) Activision (2) I "have" to buy assassins Creed on Steam :( That is just off the top of my head, I am guessing there are other games I want too.

arg! Middle Earth! Wolfenstein! Battlefront 2!

Yeah, I've been torn between Destiny 2 and AC Origins.

I really want to play both games pretty badly. But with the release schedules, it won't be possible.

At this rate, I might be skipping Destiny at launch and will get it later on sale. :/

That LawBreakers topic on Gaming side made me look at Agents of Mayhem numbers. and boy did that game bombed. That is biggest AAA sale bombing in last few years. Only 32K sold copies since launch. Based on this Crackdown will have similar fate i am afraid.

I feel you, on the other hand, Destiny will never go on sale and Assassins creed may...I have to see what kind of cash infusion I have and choose which ones can wait until christmas "break".

I actually really want it, but it will be in a Deep Silver Re-Re-Re Humble Bundle before the new year at this rate.

Is Agents of Mayhem really AAA?

Yeah.. I don't thin so. It looks mid buget and the marketing push were really tame.

Nier Automata is more AAA due to the heavy marketing push it received over the span of a year or two. Development budget-wise, I think they're comparable.

I'll have to agree with JaseC here. Give it to me now.

But seriously, why wouldn't Destiny 2 go on sale? Blizzard games went on sale quite regularly, though not very steep, like 50% at most.
