How many has their streak still going? I'm at day 177, not sure if it was day one or if I missed some days in the beginning.

I'm surprised yesterday refund request still hasn't been accepted. I'm used to the request taking a couple hours to be accepted.

I just started Life is Strange: Before the Storm on Steam and i saw Unity logo... wasn't original LiS UE3? I know that this is done by different team but... why Unity??

The new team has a special tool to handle the script, branching decisions and cutscenes. Maybe it only works with Unity right now?

It's going to be interesting to see what DONTNOD does with LiS 2, since Vampyr is already using UE4.

So I've been reading the Dead Space comics. Damn nice, gets you in the mood to play the game. An anime would be awesome.

I've been feeling the itch to play through these again, might have to give the comics a go and see if they push me to redownload them.

There are two animated movies that act as prequels to DS and DS2. Don't know if you've seen them.

The second one is pretty cool since they use different animation styles to represent different perspectives.

Has anyone tried Stranded Deep? It's in early access but it looks pretty sweet.

I played it for a bit when it first released, it was pretty cool, like Cast Away the game. I remember it being very similar to The Forest in terms of game play, can't speak to how it is now but I liked what little I played then.

That's surprising. I actually figured it was UE3 given how similar the visuals look to the original game, but I suppose it is an obsolete engine, after all.

LiS2 and the Namco Bandai narrative game will presumably use UE4, though, since Dontnod is already using that for Vampyr.

i think i got a month through on chrono break and then decided 10s of my every day time are worth more than saving $5

Wait, this is now Pathologic 2 instead of just a remake of the original?
it's still the remake, just with a more confusing name

I probably should have played Destiny 2 sober for once. The memory of playing Destiny 2's a blur. I remember enjoying it tho, mostly.

I started up Trails in the Sky: First Chapter today after having abandoned it for months, and there's some things I can't remember a thing about. First off, I see I spend points when using Arts, but what are these points and where can I see how much I got left?

And then I came across this resting station in the mine, what does this do? Does it heal me and that's it?

Also, I am in love with this game. Is there a love story in there somewhere along the way?
I see Joshua has led a secret "love life" rejecting girls and that he's popular among them, so I hope there's a love story in there somewhere in this trilogy.
I'm a sucker for love stories.

The discounts on the Total Warhammer DLC keep disappointing. I would have played way more of this game if I could get my hands on those DLC factions at a more reasonable price. Oh well, I can wait.

Arts consume EP, Crafts use CP

You do raise a good point tho, why is it named only pt there, should specify it as EP probably

What does the E and C stand for? And where do I go to see how much I got left? I can't find it anywhere in the menus. So I am left confused when I can't use any more arts and crafts huhu. I will try and look it up on google.

[edit] Energy Points. Craft Points.

Now it makes more sense since there's a Energy, Crafts and HP bar in the UI.

After months of arguing with my ISP today i finally signed new contract for optic fiber connection. If everything goes fine i will get 100/25 connection in next 10-15 days. I had to find somebody inside company to push things forward or i would never got it.

With those speeds i will be able to stream, so it is time to get ready to make some of that sweet Twitch/YT money XD

Mindware's latest game "Heiankyo Alien 3671" is expected to hit next month
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3C6kRDTDUA

It's an arranged version of a 1979 arcade game. It implements a PACMAN CE styled system where the player has 5+ minutes to obtain as high a score as possible. Basically the player has to run around a maze, dig holes, capture aliens, and then bury them. There are numerous other factors to consider as well:

-Every few dead aliens causes the level to go up. More aliens appear and everything is worth more points.
-Seven buried treasures are hidden in each game. The only clue to their location is in the green aliens, who give off tell-tale signs when they walk over a treasure.
-There is a multiplier bonus for destroying multiple enemies without dying. Said bonus applies to pick-ups as well. Thus, grabbing the hourglass with a 9x bonus adds an extra minute and a half of time, as opposed to just ten seconds.
-Extra points are awarded for creating borders. However, green aliens can destroy them. A substantial reward is given for any and all borders left standing upon level-up.
-Power-ups

Needless to say, there's a lot going on at once, but everything starts to click after a few games.

This is, in my opinion, Mindware's best game yet. It's a thoroughly superb arcade game with a lot of depth and replay-ability. There are some randomized elements at play, but obtaining a high-score requires a good strategy.

There's also support for up to four players (local-only).

I'm not looking to be a hype-man or anything, but I've been playing this for awhile now and I'm very impressed.
