But really: are there any sites that sell legit battlenet keys digitally? Did Blizzard start allowing that or is it still a good indicator of a website being legit?

Pretty sure Bliz is holding the battlenet keys close to their vest.
They're Blizzard. They don't need to sell their stuff everywhere else, people flock to them anyway.

this is the first point about their new website:

As far as I can see, it's still running wordpress.
Anyway, this might be old data, but the whole selling of random keys for stuff still sets off warning sirens =p

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Is the Steam Card Idlemaster still working for anyone else? I updated a few weeks ago and now it still detects games with drops remaining but that's it. No drops.

It should be working fine still. Is the second window popping up saying you're in-game?

-----

On a side note, I played the hell out of some Hyrule Warriors and Final Fantasy IV this weekend. This week I'll try to add some more features to Enhanced Steam that have to do with the new store pages, though I found out on Friday that my son's surgery got moved up to tomorrow so I'll be away a couple of days for that.

You joke, but Sliders would be great for an episodic style telltale game, really.
Build your city once, reuse assets for every other game.
Of course, they'd have to have good scripts. =p

I rarely buy games at their full $49.99 price, in fact Skyrim is probably the last one that I did. I'm just far too frugal a gamer nowadays with my gaming budget.

HOWEVER, that being said, I'm incredibly tempted to buy Shadows of Mordor this week. I'm holding out for customer opinions and reviews after tomorrow, but from the initial info it sounds like a game I'd enjoy the every loving HELL out of. Which would make it worth the $50 to me.

I'm a little concerned how my good old GTX560Ti would handle it though...

You're asking a lot of Telltale and the Sliders universe there.

But let's not get it twisted: I fucking love Sliders.

Did Sliders ever got a proper ending? Stopped following it after a while, couple of the main cast got replaced.
I have a vague memory of them making I r back to their universe, but having to leave it again in a hurry
It's been too long for me to remember

Hmm, I'm astounded at TV Shows apparent inability to have a good closure. There is so many great shows with shitty endings it boggles the mind.

So in the past week played D4 and Ethan Carter while chipping away at Wasteland 2, and now Dark Souls 2 has its DLC come out a day early.

How do I hold all these games??

Remy goes back to his world, with some virus in his blood that only kills weird-looking people. The others stay, since the foresight guy tells them they die during/after the next slide. And coffee is free.

Yeah, the events surrounding the original cast were pretty notorious. Some reading stuffs. http://www.dimensionofcontinuity.com/bts.htm

As much as I like Sliders and I'd say Jerry O'Connell is a bit short of work at the moment and could do with a break, Quantum Leap and Firefly would be further up my list of priorities of TV Shows turned into games I'd throw my money at if a crowdfunded, full fat title was proposed.

Quantum Leap would be awesome. Give it to TellTale. As long as they use the original theme instead of the newer one from the last season... bought so hard.

Firefly reminded me of the big vision little the funded shows like Hercules or Xena. Needless to say I waited to see if it would get more than a season before getting invested.

They swapped out the cast too much by the end to ever do an actual, proper ending I think.

There was that episode where they thought they had made it back, but Jerry O'Connel tries the gate to his Mom's fence and it doesn't creak, so they just continue sliding. Then his Mom comes out of the house thanking a neighbor for fixing that creaky gate. That was heartbreaking.

And then there was that episode where they slide to a planet where men were nearly wiped out and women now keep them as slaves for breeding purposes. The group is hiding in a farm house when a gestapo-like police come in and check the house. They're about to leave when the head officer looks in the bathroom and notices the toilet seat up. That was hilarious.

~adds Farscape to the list~

Some of the characters were okay, but the gameplay was fucking bland, as were the 3 enemy types per "genre".

See, I guess I don't agree with that either. I thought they did a good job with the random weapon variety - you really felt changes between weapons, like scope type or reload speed or spread or element type. Finding a new weapon could really change your gameplay style (let alone switching character type, since skills really changed gameplay). Sure, you fought grunts a lot, but that's true of every fps. You also fought crazy animals, crazy birds, bombers, etc.

Like I said before, I thought it was a superb game, the furthest thing from bland I can think of. I hated the first one, but the second was really solid.

Compare Borderlands 2 to, say, Kingdom of Amalur. Amular also had great weapon variety... but it had terribly boring dialog, too many fetch missions, and actually felt 'bland' due to an overall lack of personality. Borderlands 2 was a blast. But different strokes for different folks, I guess, I think it was goty material that year.

IIRC, they actually retconned that bit, with Quinn returning to his actual world, and it squeaked. Possibly continuity error, that could be explained with the gate being a lying piece of shit.

EDIT: Nevermind about the Farscape thing, I thought he meant film/TV medium.

Apparently, the current Gamersgate GTA Complete package (£7; 80% off) does include Steam keys for 1 & 2.

Amalur was a different kind of bland, but you won't find me defending that soulless, empty single player MMO ;)

But the gate in the actual world got lubricated so it wouldn't squeak any more! ;)

R* made new retail subs a couple of months ago, so if the info is around that old or older still I'd be wary of it being applicable now.

They aren't really reliving old glory, hate the games or not but XIII and particularly Lighting Returns are nothing like other games in the series. There was Theatrhythm, but that's more of a celebration of the series's unparalleled musical history than cashing in on nostalgia. Not sure what the last bit is supposed to mean, they've started porting over tons of games in the series and obviously building towards XV coming out on the PC.

Tales games just aren't my thing. Horrible anime stories(friendship is magic blah blah blah, I'm so tsundre), barren overworlds, low-budget to the point of being gross to look at, and so on. Combat in the games I've played has been fun, but nothing Star Ocean didn't do better. I actually enjoyed Vesperia to some degree but outside of that......eh.

When I say reliving old glory. I mean hardcore fans of the series most of the time say, "well XIII sucks so bad and they keep making sequel of it. Oh well at least we have VII and XII!"

Btw, FF All the Bravest was the cash grab, up until recently they refused to port over Type-0, and to rub salt on it there won't be a Vita port, FF VII is undoutably their most famous game ever and they still refused to do an HD remake of the game, the delay of XV just put the whole company on my bad side. And I used to love them.

Also, did you only play Vesperia and Graces F? If you're judging Tales based on 2 games, in which 1 of those is an abomination. Then you haven't truly experience the other great Tales games.

I am inordinately hyped for this.

Me too.
Still haven't bought of Orcs & Men (because of reviews and a kinda high price for all the problems listed in them), but I'm hype for this one. I love the "we took his smaller size into account" thing.
