Some of my Steam games don't sync when I finish them. Is there a way to force games to sync?

Assuming that the games actually support Steam Cloud, are you sure they don't sync? You can force a Steam Cloud download by deleting the local files, though of course you'll want to back them up first, just in case.

I wonder if anyone in here is going to get the new F1 2014 game. You get a free game with it (F1 Race Stars) and a 50% off a codemasters game which could be useful to get that Colin McRae Rally game, perhaps. However, I'm not an expert on F1 and it's not a class I drive often in racing games (I am loving Forma C on GRID Autosport however). I just love driving in the rain.

Either way I'm sure many GAFfers already have other pre-orders in mind. Saw lot's of people getting the Shadow of Mordor season pass lately, Alien and other recent titles.

No point getting 2014 when they have already announced 2015 will come out earlier in the season running on a new engine made for PS4/One/PC.

There's also a prequel to To the Moon 2, you can find it in the main directory of the game, is a small episode of 15 minutes.

That's just a bonus episode. The actual prequel is coming this November.

A random question to all you steam experts. I am a US permanent resident, have a permanent address in the US (and credit cards with those billing addresses). But for the net few years, I will be living in between the UK and the US. When I am in the UK, am I supposed to pay UK prices? I vaguely remember VPN would be grounds for banning - would this be true even if I can prove I actually have a 'real existence' in the US?

In other words, should I only buy the games when I am in the US? (am I risking anything if i buy a game in the US, then travel back to the UK and so forth?)

Just use a browser, and go to store.steampowered.com?cc=us . That's what i always do when I'm overseas anyway. No VPN, but you are still buying from your home storefront.

Just make sure you don't buy steam wallet in your browser then try to use it in your client (or vice versa), it will give u some error and you will be unable to purchase anything. If you buy steam wallet in the ?cc=us store, you must use it in that store.

Got a random friend request today, and I want to say scammer, but this one is slightly less obvious than the others. Appears to own 8 games, and has played over 200 hours of TF2. Has a whole bunch of friends, unlike the previous scammers who were only friends with other scammers, and I spot at least one member of SteamGAF on their friends list.

I'm still leaning towards scammer, but if they are just new to Steam, I don't want to be a dick.

From my experience 70% of the time it's a scammer. 28% lowballer and 2% genuine.
