Windows 8.1 Preview

Jeez you guys, I don't care how enticing that start icon is, /stay away/ from 8.1. The performance is atrocious right now, the OS is super unoptimized and eats resources. Windows 8 is far better for gaming right now. I went through the pain of downloading/installing it, re-setting up all my stuff again, then uninstalling it and re-setting up all my stuff again because it was awful. On my laptop, I went from a solid 60fps on high playing BF3 to 27-30 on low to medium. It's also not compatible with everything right now.

Yes, I played it on Win 8 all the way through.

If I remember right, some users had issues with a certain level in the game, but I never ran across the bug. Maybe it got squashed in updates by now.

Yes it does... just takes some tweeking. Right click installer, go to properties... change compatibility to windows 7 then run as administrator.
