Unless a game has a shitton of bad DLC or is an $8000 F2P title, something rubs me the wrong way about having a game without all the content...

For example, I want to play Heroes VI and I believe the game would be worth it to me for the £6.79 they're asking, but since I wouldn't be getting the complete package (which is £19.99, I'd bite for £10, mayyyybe £12) I refuse to buy it.

Sale's been a bit rubbish so far.

Only picked up Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands 2 season pass and Duke Nukem 3D.

There's a bunch of stuff I would have bitten on if the discount was higher like AoE2 and the newer Resi games.

A wise man once told me that if we collect all the Rocks we found on the ground we could, one day, build a Castle with all of them.

Sometimes I think that we, as a Community can become much more powerful when united. I believe that we have the best members on any Website or Message Board ever known simply because no matter how different we are, we share the same love for Games.

That is what makes me proud. All of you, fellow GAFfers.

There is a total of 335 fellow GAFfers in this picture that posted in this thread. There's more but after so many hours collecting these Avatars I might have missed some. I'm very sorry for that but the reason why I did this is:

We are one, we love Games, Steam, Backlogs, threads, hype trains, gifs, and so much more but all of this is unique because, when everything fails, we do not.

This post reminds me. I haven't posted in the new thread yet. I am sad Antichamber didn't get the vote. Universe Sandbox is a buggy (boring) mess.

Just for that:

Is Bioshock 1 or 2 better? Would I need the DLC to thoroughly enjoy it?

Bioshock 1 is better in every aspect except the combat, wich is vastly better in 2. Both are great games and worth playing. Minerva's Den for BioShock 2 is one of the best pieces of DLC ever made.

I'd say buy both if possible, and wait on the DLC since it's only avaiable in GFWL at the moment, but Steam achievements have popped up for it, meaning they might get smart and start selling it on Steam.

Bioshock Infinite is gah dam amazing. I think I spent close to 2 hours just looking around in the first level. So darn pretty!

I'm really looking forward to playing it, but when I consider how many games I have in my backlog, I can wait for the price to go down a bit lower than it has so far.

Ya thought the same, I actually lost interest a little when the shooting started, i was enjoying wandering around, looking at the scenery and picking up coins in nooks and crannies.
