Even though I own it for my 360, I bought Space Marine today. Having this twice is like having sex with the neighborhood whore: You know it's wrong, but you can't help yourself.

has anyone ever played guardian of light local co-op with two wireless 360 controllers. never had a game that allows that so i can't test it. i may bite if you can.

And to answer your question it worked fine with my 360 controller and a PS3 pad emulating a 360 controller, so as long as the 360 receiver can take 2 controllers at once you are good to go.

So I bought the Tribes pack, and I see my 800G in-game, but not my XP boost, and I dunno where I'd check to see about my class unlocks. What's the dealio?

The boost is in the form of the VIP membership. There should be a VIP next to your name at the top of the main screen after you log in. Also at the end of each match you'll see XP that gets added to your total that's marked as VIP.

The class unlocks will just be available to use. If they weren't unlocked you'd need to unlock them with either gold or XP. Theres nothing in the menu's that say they were unlocked because you bought the starter pack.

edit: beaten

I'm really in the mood for a good stupid action game. Max Payne is really temping -- however, I'm utterly broke. Is it $30 good, or am I better off waiting for something older and cheaper? Perhaps F3AR?

Max Payne 3 is great in my opinion. I would buy Hard Reset instead though if you are trying to save money.

360 receivers can connect up to 4 controllers, so it should be good to go!

Shieeet, couldn't resist on Alan Wake American Nightmare for only 3.74. Awesome deal.

What, it just went live? Damn, I bought it like 2 minutes ago. Great price.

Current flash sale, the unknown one is Alan Wake franchise sale, includes American Nightmare.

Both Alan Wake and American Nightmare are great! I can't recommend them enough. Already double dipped on AW, and I might just do the same for American Nightmare.

I highly recommend The Whispered World, as far as Steam Adventure games go. Be warned though, it has a low res 1024 I believe and gets quite hard later on.

Thanks - added to my wishlist. As other's have said it's not showing on sale for me but I'll keep an eye on it and grab it when it drops. As always, I appreciate the recommendations.

Being more than 75% off is very rare. Something being a daily deal and soon being even cheaper, I'm not sure if there's any precedent. This is probably as good as it gets for months, anyway. Like, when the standard price drops and it's 75% off again.

Alan Wake was tied with RDR for my 2010 GOTY. I loved it, though I love Twin Peaks(a show) and was addicted. Double dipped when it released on Steam, and it is a great port. Graphics are sharp, textures are better, framerate is awesome. It's Remedy, they know how to make a PC game(or port in this case.)

Edit:
Also, the composer is incredible, the music is so so so so so great, has a lot of emotion and depth to it.

Oh I'm so glad that Alan Wake deal is 12 hours. I really want it and that's a great price but $10 is 1/5 my budget. THE DILEMMA!
