Everyone quit steam because of Fray sale.

I'll be back at 11, what a joke though.

Thanks to someone for mentioning Tropico 3 was also on sale, my generally mediocre PCs can run that one. Never played the series but looks good.

---

Think I'm up to 60-80 bucks...

Anomaly
BttF 1-5
Crusader Kings II
Cubemen
Hoard
Indie Bundle II (Botanicula, E.Y.E., Oil Rush, Splice, Universe Sandbox)
Legend of Grimrock
SpaceChem
SW: KOTOR
Tropico 3
Warlock
Ys Origin

Imagine if Fray was actually a flash deal that took up a spot for the rest of the sale... I think Steam would go into meltdown from the complaints!

Updated haul for today, I think this is it until tomorrow now:

So far:

Alan Wake's American Nightmare: £2.99
Alan Wake Collectors Edition Upgrade: £1.74
Sonic Generations Casino Nights DLC: £0.33
Tropico 4 Complete Bundle: £12.74
Sam & Max Complete Collection: £8.74
Tribes Ascend Starter Pack: £3.74
Borderlands: Claptrap's Robot Revolution: £1.57
Europa Universalis III Chronicles - FREE (Thanks Tony!)
The Darkness II - £8.95 (Thanks wilflare!)

Total: £40.80

Not bad, that includes two three of the games I wanted from this sale before it started. Hoping for:

QUBE 75% off
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet 75% off
Arma II Combined Ops 50%+ off (yeah, right)
The Walking Dead (will buy this at current price on the last day if it doesn't discount further)
Stronghold Collection 75% off
Stardock Collection for a good price

I see no Frozen Synapse! I hope you already own it ;P

Anyone know if it's still possible to be gifted the US (high gore) version of left 4 dead 2 and activate it on an Australian account?

I'd love to get it but I won't be buying the gimped aussie version, would anyone be able to help me out? (alternatively we could arrange a 4 pack).

I do, Love SteamPlay titles and gave the other to a friend. Think I bought it at $15.

Good man :) Btw if you ever played on the MP servers you'll find this funny too: Currently 3000 players online. 3000. Three...Thousand. lol
I had 20 yesterday. Crazy.

Oh yeah, someone do me a favor of posting my impressions post up there when someone asks about Fray please. Going to bed soon. Otherwise I'd start my own crusade against this game to keep GAF safe.

Maybe it's a hidden gem and you're totally wrong.

You'd be starving poor devs.

Where are the best places to handle trades of Steam codes? I see the trading section in the Off-Topic forum. Are there any other threads?

The Witcher 2 for $16...so tempting.

I just didn't really love the first one very much. I got to chapter 2 and have tried 4 times to get back into it and just can't.

You walk a righteous path. May Lord Gaben keep you.

I need a big vacation just to play these games. But I already took mine. Sigh.

I have done some damage this sale already. Good god. At least its all Gamestop credit thus far.

Thinking about diving into that Tribes Booster Pack thing. Quick question, I have the non-steam version, is there a shortcut to adding it to my Library officially rather than re-downloading it on Steam?

Well, I bought and played it. Not like I didnt want to give them a chance. And I cant remember many Indie games I am THAT hostile against.

Eternities child would be another one.

Fray...

Poor discount, crappy-looking game. 64-bit only though? Are you serious? And with otherwise low system requirements? What a joke.

And yeah, I'd believe the people saying the game itself is bad. I wouldn't go near it even if it was free.

quick question:

I'm buying two things - binding of isaac (which I own) and would like to gift to someone, and the Synapse DLC for myself.

Can I place both in my inventory, activate the DLC for myself then send BoI instead of making two separate purchases?
