Seriously. Fuck Dead Island. Do not buy this game. It runs like shit, unless there is a fix out there I'm not finding on google. Geforce 680, 2500k @ 4.5GHz, and 8 gigs ram. FRAPS says 60FPS, but it feels super fucking choppy and screen tearing everywhere even with VSYNC on.

Changing video settings to low doesn't change a thing (not shocking since I'm already at 60FPS supposedly).

Glad to hear that. I'll keep messing with it. Like I said, it's solid 60FPS according to FRAPS, but feels way less. I wonder if it's something to do with the 680.

Just started up Ys Origin 35 minutes ago. Bought the game based on the Steam video and screen shots for it, comments and the love for it from GAF without looking into anything else.

Needless to say everything else I've spent money on will be ignored now. Looooovvvveee.

On a side note: At least you can alt+tab out and let those cut scenes play out while you read the forums.

It's probably the micro stuttering bug. You can fix this with the Dead Island helper.
