Agreed, if you dont own them, its a pile of good games (though I still think the THQ pack is way better). And the Genesis games are just a bonus. All the classic Total War games, Shogun 2, Binary Domain, Sonic Generations, Renegade Ops, etc are worth $50 by themselves easily. The Genesis games are just a nice bonus.

Bought.

Haven't bought Trine 2, I'm sure I will not play it in a long time (haven't even finished the first one).

Instead I got Shogun II and Ben there, Dan That (1 buck!)

Crusader's King 2 is excellent. I want to thank who convinced me to buy it yesterday, but it is now lost on the ocean of this thread.
My first game was so funny. I am minding my busisness as the king of what-one-day-will-be-Portugal and my only desire is to really have a son. So, obviously, I have 2 daughters and my dream of pacifism is not disrupt by direct war, but by my brother kidnapping my sister and asking for ransom; which I say to him fuck you and start a plot to kill him.
And the plot is going great, I got a real army of barons and dukes ready to help me kill the asshole when... I die of natural causes.
So my 4 year old daughter assumes the kingdom and all the intrigue with her uncle is gone, just doesn't make sense anymore; so now I just want to grow up and be a good little queen when someone kills my 4 year old queen.
Ok, I got another daughter... who was born with a mental illness and die at the age of 5.
And so is the end of my first game and of my lineage. It looks just a series of disasters - and it was - but also was so much fun and engaging. I was actually plotting to kill a rival king not because of gameplay advantages, but because he was an asshole (I mean, really, kidnapping our sister? What the fuck?) and the notion that the course of history was changed, then, by one natural death followed by one murder followed by another natural death is great.
Anyway, here is me recommending the game.

This game is so complex and awesome. I started a game and just stared at all the windows trying to make sense of what I was supposed to do next. I set my plot to get married and I guess after that I should have a kid, but looking at the bishops and vassals I wondered if I should also plan to get rid of the guys who don't like me as soon as possible so they aren't a problem later. After about a hour I had yet to even press play on the time...I guess I should just learn as I go

I noticed that this morning as well. I would like to know the reason for it.

Some sort of App Store restriction perhaps since it's available via the Android app and the mobile site. Took a quick look at some other deals on the iOS app and so far the Trines are the only ones I could find that weren't available.

Voted Brink.

All 3 games look like horse shit but Brink is slightly more interesting from the looks of it. Wont buy any of them though.

Which confuses me because the number of concurrent Arma 2 players has remained around three thousand or so for months. So where are all those copies of the game being sold going. (Unless using the DayZ mod causes Steam not to count it in the chart)

The obvious answer would be people jumping on the bandwagon without really understanding what DayZ is, playing it once, and never, ever, touching it again.

So I just downloaded the Splice Demo..

And I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm winning.

The game does not tell you what you're doing or why you're doing it... you just are.

Its funny.

Is it necessary to play Force Unleashed 1 to understand what is going on in the Sequel or can I just buy the second game? Don't really want another 30GB game... *looks at max payne*

I don't know how much of a problem they can be. In my game, no one appeared on the "threat screen" (bottom of the intrigue menu, iirc), so I didn't moved against anybody. I arrested a bishop because he wanted to convert me away from catholicism (and was cool because I released him after my king died and while my first daughter was still queen; the change of ruler gave me "let bygones be bygones" vibe), but aside from that, no one seemed threatening. What I did to win over some vassals that disliked me was simply sending one of the dudes in my court (forgot who, the first one on the menu) that has the abbility to improve relationships.
I think these guys will start to be a problem way late in the game, I feel you can play a good 100 or 200 years before facing this kind of risk, unless you are actively doing stuff that pissed them off. (but again, I just played one game, so what do I know?)

Does anyone remember if Bejeweled 3 ever hits the daily deal? I need to buy it to gift it to my dad and wondering if I should go ahead and bite. I can't remember many PopCap games ever being daily deals.

Any thoughts on the full version of Clash of Heroes? From the demo it seems like it could be a fun puzzle game with a polished interface. The story, dialogue and portrait artwork is awful though.

It was a daily just a few weeks ago

well they started out at the same time I think, but with different end times (6, 8, 10, 12 hours), and now they end in pairs

maybe Im being dumb though, idk
They did, and it turned into a mess that seemed to have broken the front page and led to them extending half the flash deals.

You can but why? The first game is better and longer. If you only want one, buy that for $5.

Anyone know in the past (like last year) if Dungeon Siege Bundle went on daily deal really just want Dungeon Siege 1, but 17.99 is too much. This is my first Steam Sale so I'm trying to stay strong and wait.
