Bought, I guess.

I mean if you like turn-based RPGs it's fun. It's a decent length. There's a shit ton of achievements if that's your thing. But you can play the bulk of it for free at newgrounds. I don't know what all matt added for the steam version (says he did add stuff though). 1, 2, and 3 are also on newgrounds

edit: To be clear, I linked because it's as easy a demo to try as there is. I'm not trying to divert anyone from supporting matt with $. I've beaten all 4 of 'em and I like 'em.

How do I have fun with Papers, Please?

It would appear I am working a terrible job, but I'm doing it voluntary.
I think the point is you dont have fun.
Im serious
Like very MMORPG ever. Ooooooh!
I kid! Seriously, I think it's not supposed to be "fun" so much as educational. It's art.
See, I hate this shit in the PC gaming community. Stuff gets hyped and nobody openly states the real shit about a game until someone is having a bad time and asks point blank, then suddenly it all comes out.

Huh? Uh... what pc gaming community are you talking about?

I have the PC version of Final Fantasy VII on CD, and I'd rather go find my DVD drive and fight with it on my modern PC than have to make another effing one-off account for some terrible Square-Enix DRM.

Why do they do this?

Your link was great in getting me to actually purchase the game, so good job on that.

Iunno, I had fun organizing documents on my way too small table, matching pictures, trying to make as few mistakes as possible or the "right" decisions to advance further. I enjoyed the bleak atmosphere, the art style, was looking forward to what's gonna happen every new day. And when Jorji was gonna show up.
Only game I enjoyed more than Papers, Please in 2013 was The Last of Us.

Lots of people had legit fun with Papers,Please and tons of articles and comments have been written about what the game is.

I'm tempted because it's cheap, but I don't know if it's my cup of tea. From the gameplay videos it's seems boring. I mean, walking and walking and the combat is like spam left click and win.

I mean, it's a fairly reductionist way to break it down but not too far from the truth. It was certainly a step up from the generic vistas of Oblivion and the combat felt more meaty but I burned out the fastest I ever have from an Elder Scrolls title. One day I was in the middle of an underground cave fighting through some ruins, saved and quit to go about some business and never booted it up again.

I wouldn't say it is terrible, maybe I'm just through with Elder Scrolls as a series.

How's Skullgirls online?

It's the best of any 2d fighting game (GGPO)

Even with a much smaller community, you find matches faster than you would in SF4. For all my dislike of Skullgirls gameplay-wise (too much comboing), they nailed everything about the game perfectly- it's not just my personal taste in a fighting game.

Far as I recall, you only need to be online when you run the game for the very first time, after that you shouldn't need it.

The most common key are the Mann co. Keys, refered to as TF2 Keys. ATM you can get them for an average of $2.30. You buy like 10 of them, go to Steamtrades and find a game you want. You can trade 7 TF2 Keys and get a game that is worth $40-50 games on your regular store page. If you're lucky you could get keys for a cheaper price too.
You only try to find cheaper keys if you got nothing else to do

finished Marlow Briggs, buy it people!

He is so badass that (last boss spoilers)
he loses his weapon midfight and just punches him to death instead
. 6 hours with all upgrades, not bad

I loved how
HE RIPPED OUT THE BOSSES HEART THEN TORE OFF HIS HEAD!
As lulzy as that sounds and looks it's still freakin' awesome.

Goddamn. Shadowrun is amazing. I've never played anything like it before, feels like I have missed out on a whole genre of awesome games. Any recommendations for games like it?

Why are people willing to trade a $40 game for $16 of keys?
