Assetto Corsa works ok on a 360 pad. Its definitely quite playable still even if a wheel is preferable.

A follow up question: Does AC already have a career mode or is this yet to come? It's listed as one of the features of AC but i can't find any information on it.

It does not have the career mode implemented yet, but if you like simracing, it´s simply an amazing game.

Well the M&M money thing finally killed my account completely from buying anything for the foreseeable future it would appear. Upon trying to add my 5th $6 credit, I got, "An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase could not be completed." or something like that. I shrugged it off and attempted to purchase with my normal card and same thing.

I've tried everything else I can think of and ended up creating a ticket for support. I should hear back in about 2 weeks I'm thinking. Luckily I had an alt account from a while back and was able to use the same credit card this time and made the purchase. Now I just have to wait 15 days to be able to trade it since I never setup Steam Guard on it.

So take this as a warning guys. Ah well, I'd still do it again for the free $24 I got.

It won't let me invite people from their page links. I just get [object Object] appear on a white page. Add me and I can add you to the group.

The DLC is a bit hit and miss. The Big Bank imho is not worth it's current price, and all the level DLC can be played without owning it, so long as the game host does. The best value is the Armoured Transport, so get that first if any, the rest you can live without, so only grab it if you want, you don't really need it.

i solved this problem by going through pay pal, adding that card onto that, and selecting it.

since it's masks the card number, they'll never know it was Candy cash. i can assure you pay pal works

I don't think the loyalty discount applies during the sale. It still shows up as $4.99 even though I own both the original and the DLC. But if you're asking outside of the sale, then yes, the discount applies depending on if you own the game and/or the DLC.

Yea, they've constantly been working on gamepad controls. There's lots of different settings to mess around with to get it dialled in right for you(though you can usually find somebody else's settings to try out if you don't want to mess with things).

And no, no career mode yet. But this isn't a 'career mode' type of game in the first place, just to warn you. All the cars are unlocked from the start and there's no economy or anything to play for. It'll probably just be championship sort of setups where you race over a season purely for the sake of competition rather than for a carrot-on-a-stick reward structure(could be wrong, but I'm assuming).

But you can certainly do single races, race weekends and online racing at the moment.

I guess it depends on what you want. I just grabbed Payday 2 with the M&M credit lol. Anything that's more than $6, I'll just use the funds that's in my steam wallet.

I got it fixed by Steam Support. I've added about six cards so far, so 36 dollars total. Still have 10 left in the wallet. Just waiting on Dark Souls II, but i'm not sure that's going on as a daily.

Seriously, PC gamers in general have it the best, the games are a fraction of the price as console games.

There are literally thousands of games on sale...

And someone saying Transistor, a game that's been out a whole month and with an average of 83/100 being too expensive at $15.

For them it was too expensive.

PC gamers that focus on steam for the most part have switched from the old style of physical copies of games, where you had possession of what you bought and were able to use and resell it at your leisure. They gave up those things and the normal rights associated with physical property for digital purchases that clearly have substituted the highly discounted nature of these basically RENTED DRM restricted digital products for physical ownership with its associated rights.

You are comparing a userbase of console users that still reside largely in the old physical copy world to those who left that almost entirely for the digital. We changed because the product was cheaper and to a lesser extent, more convenient. Don't complain about the general reactions of gamers who wait for now regularly timed sales of those digital products who rate sales as being poor if they aren't highly discounted or offered in a wider variety instead of constant repeats.

This expectation for highly reduced prices in quality sales isn't some kind of outrageous entitlement thinking by a bunch of ingrates, it is the whole premise of digital games to begin with. This is why I love GOG, I get both worlds. I own and control what I buy and still get the games cheap.

Greatness right here. Fast paced side scrolling randomised world action with huge variety of weapons, all for hectic (though quite manageable) pace ever driving you to be faster and more skilled as you kill unholy dead and giant chickens.

Even has a moment of huge satisfaction by killing enough enemies in a row and getting a combo going for as long as possible called RAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEE!.

I am entirely biased as it's my favourite game on 2013 and at 45 copies, the one most given out. All should own it.
