Last bump.

Decided to give away my extra copy of this game. Me and my friends have had a lot of fun with this game and I hope whoever wins it does the same. I know I can't force you not to participate but if you have no plans to play this game with other people can you please not participate as to give others a chance to enjoy it? Thanks.

Well, this isn't the first time they've done a meta-game for a sale. But it's the first time they've tried to pit Steam users against each other in 'competition' and I think it's sort of.. mean-spirited? Goes against what the sale and Steam community should be about IMO.

But do you still play and like these games if you don't worry about the time? Especially Mirror's edge?

Because you can play Cloudbuilt (and will for first playthroughs of stages) by ignoring the time trial mechanic and making it through as slowly as you need to. Granted, top times (and completion of different modes like "No Bullets") are connected to how many extra lives you get to beat levels.

See this bad boy obstacle here? Screw times, you'll be wondering how the hell you can get way up there through all that boost-management heavy wallrunning in one go. Because failing likely means death, I sure took my sweet-ass time with it.

If Thief, Goat Simulator, Wolfenstein, Shadowrun, Portal 2, Metal Gear Rising and a Ass Creed or Call of Duty game are there on encore day in 2 days, then I gotta grab those.

Seriously, there's almost no need for me to have other gaming platforms if it wasn't for Sony's and Nintendo's exclusives on PS4 and Wii U.

I guess getting Trials Evo cheaper than $5 isn't going to happen this sale. Too bad I had a couple chance before the sale to get it for that price and held out hoping it would be on Steam.

I wonder if it will be a photo finish. Or maybe a team will pull ahead in the final sprint :) If everyone tries to do that it may crash Steam though :D

Games like Destiny and Metal gear solid V always justifies my purchase outside platform exclusives. I am too weak to wait for a PC release :(

Gotta give an endorsement to Chivalry while it's on sale. I've only played for an hour, and I utterly suck at it, but there's nothing like rushing head first in to battle only to have somebody score a home run with your head.

That's a cool giveaway. I remember playing chapter 1 (or at least part of 1?) as a demo. Mind you, I think the developers bit off more than they could chew. Releasing the game as episodes is fine. Taking two years and still having a couple of chapters to go? Ain't nobody got time for that!

I guess it is an unpopular opinion right now, but I also thought the overall campaign design of DMC4 turned a game with great boss fights and combat into a "god this sucks make it end and then never play it again" kind of game.

Very patchy experience for me, I really hated those puzzles.

There I am, with a happy little village with 6-7 houses, everything is going fine, then I decide to build 3 more, just to get more citizens and boom, half of my population dies of starvation. Banished is hard, man. :(
